This is the most frustratingly 50/50 Biggby location in the Kalamazoo/Portage area; It is always a gamble whether or not you’ll get good service and actually edible products.
Some days, there’s a crew working inside that makes everything faster than you thought was possible. They take your order, and by the time you’ve pulled out your phone to stand there and wait for it, they're passing it over the counter to you. They make friendly conversation, they make you feel welcome, and they make phenomenal drinks and food.
Other days, every single person behind that counter seems to have no perception of time. They fill drinks at their own pace, regardless of the rush that inevitably comes in at the same time every day. They are unfriendly, and often give the impression they would much rather be anywhere else.
Their slow speed is unjustified further by the low quality of the drinks and food they produce. Just this morning (08/06/2022), I went through the drive-thru for a drink. I arrived before the rush, yet still had to wait 7 minutes to get up to the ordering speaker, before being told I would be helped soon as they prioritized every single person who walked into the store well after I had already arrived, rather than a proper first in, first out. In total, the interaction that should’ve lasted ten minutes tops took 20 and the matcha oat milk latte I received for my patience was just disgusting. Watered down green oat milk, barely any matcha flavor; horrible considering I paid nearly $8 dollars for it.
In short, this location can be a fantastic spot for a quick breakfast or lunch, but good luck running the gamble of ending up standing there for too long and being late to wherever you’re...

There was only on time my mom and I have had a problem (my mom told the guy not to touch the screen on her phone because it was a stupid phone and we would lose the coupon and he did and then tried to say that he couldn't give it to us even though he knows we had the coupon and we've been still able to get our coffee when my mom's phone was stupid in the past and he just acted like he knew best and kept arguing with my mom until the guy working with him stepped in and allowed us to us the BOGO coupon even though he couldn't see it on my mom's phone) but we haven't had a problem since (if you have a problem with an employee, find out how to contact the manger and report them and come back because it might be just that employee) and the other employees have been...

When I finally asked for the order that I saw ready, sitting behind the counter, I was met with what can only be described as a bratty, sassy attitude from a grown "man" telling me that it's my fault that none of the 5 employees behind the counter completely ignored me for the 10 minutes I was standing there. I was the only person at the pickup counter. Multiple employees saw me and chose not to provide me assistance.
