A N B Nails — Local services in Portales

First time visiting today, and was very happy with my experience. I called and was able to get a same-day appointment on a Saturday, and they were fairly good at being on time, granted they did seem busy when I arrived. It was about thirty minutes after my schedules time that I actually had my set started, which honestly is what I figured I'd be waiting anyway. Nails are perfectly done based off of a photo reference. The ombre is smooth, and the thickness of the nails aren't bulky like a lot of places do. This is also the first time I haven't gotten a cut or burn from a nail salon being too rough with tools! Pedicure experience was lovely, and I was in calf-length dress so the gentleman who was doing my pedicure was considerate enough to place a towel over my lap to ensure modesty.

My only con would be pricing. Not that it was expensive, honestly I paid the same I am used to back home in a more expensive area, but it was the lack of pricing displayed. I paid $120 for a set of nails, and gel pedicure, but to be honest I have no idea the cost separately which can be off-putting. A N B Nails aims to put the customer first in all they do starting with their APPOINTMENT ONLY POLICY that they've had since the start of their business many years ago. The two individuals who operate this place take the time to talk with and get to know their customers. Portales is a small town and this nail spot has an adorable small town feel. It is the best spot in Portales, and if you're coming from Clovis it is worth the drive. They offer EVERYTHING you can imagine. I have been to a variety of nail salons and can honestly say this was one of the best spots I've ever been to. I received a gel mani and pedi. Update!! So I absolutely love the work they do with nails. However the prices I’ve been paying are a little over the top. I get charged the same no matter what I get done, in the $50-$60 range and I always tip. But even for a fill I’ve paid probably $50 with tip. I understand inflation and rising costs but I feel like these costs are not realistic for me anymore. I feel like I am being up charged more then I should be.
