365 convenience store — Local services in Portland

BE CAREFUL. This is the second time this has happened to me here.

They ring up your items (my total tonight was $16.07) and if you use an EBT card they have you enter your pin, like a normal transaction.

But then dude says "I'm sorry buddy, i need to ring up your items again. Our system is glitching. Don't worry, you didn't get charged on the first transaction."

Which was bullshit cause I saw the words 'transaction complete' but he insists no money was taken from my EBT card yet. So I let him ring up all the stuff again, went outside and looked on this app I have that shows every transaction made with EBT card and there it is, plain as day, two separate charges.

Spent 15 minutes trying to tell me I was wrong and only got charged once.

Even after showing him the double transactions on my phone he spent another 5 minutes trying to convince me to "come back tomorrow and speak with owner"

Finally when I told him I'm either getting that $16 bucks back or calling the police he apologized and gave me $15 bucks out of the till.

This must be something they do often cause it was my second time and I've seen it happen to others in line as well.

Gosh I'm pissed, so I hope this dumb review...

I got called into work early today and barely had enough to buy a pack of cigarettes with the help of a $2 camel mobile coupon.

The cashier said they no longer accept digital coupons.

I used to come here every day so I asked them to please just let me bring them $2 bucks after work so I could get my cursed cigarettes.

Cashier calls the owner (I'm guessing) and the guy laughs at me saying "I've never seen you in my life"

Wow, ok bro. Check your camera footage and you'll see how often I came in.

Never again though.

I know it was my fault for having a cigarette addiction but dude didn't have...
