Just Tea — Restaurant in Portland

There's a lot of space in the shop, bigger than some of the other boba shops I've been to. It was well air-conditioned and easy to walk through. Everything looked clean. The staff was nice. It was a little hard to hear them over the music, but that could've been unique to that day. The prices were on par with what you'd expect from a boba tea shop, maybe a little cheaper than some of the other ones in the area. The drinks were amazing.

I've been to a lot of boba shops before, and this one is hands down my favorite just from the taste of the drinks. I got my normal go-to, which is a brown sugar milk tea with boba. I've never had one as well made that tasted as good as this one. The brown sugar was prominent enough that you could actually taste it, but not so intense that it would overpower the drink. The boba was just the right texture and size. I got it 75% sweet, and it was just the right level of sweetness. I definitely recommend getting something to drink here. This is now my favorite bubble tea place in Portland! They are right next door to the Midland library which is super convenient. I also love that we can order through the drive through. The people are super nice and the order comes up fast. I am able to easily adjust the amount of ice and sugar and use oat milk in my drink, which is very important to me. I get the Thai iced tea with boba. It's delicious. I take my three teenage boys here for a treat and they love it as well. They gave me a punch card which gives me a free drink after purchasing 10. Great business!

Update: February 2024. We tried coming into the store today, as we usually go through the drive-thru. It was very nice inside. We played Pictionary at a table for four while we drank our tea. This place is so good!! My daughter’s favorite place to get anything matcha. Their waffle puffs are all so delicious, they do the sweet ones like in the mall with ice cream and toppings but they also do a breakfast one with the egg and bacon cooked into the waffle puff 🤤 SO GOOD! They just started doing these fried mochi balls with red bean or pork, we had both and I think I could eat 10 of those things, they are amazing! The chicken and rice bowl was one of the first bowls I’ve ever tasted where you can actually taste every ingredient, especially the lemon grass, which I have never been able to taste in any lemon grass anything anywhere, but I love lemon so I always try. And the homemade chili oil made the whole thing! We really like the family that runs the whole thing as well, they are all so sweet and genuinely kind.
