7-Eleven — Local services in Portland

This is a TERRIBLE store! The owner is about as rude as can be to customers. It was so bad today that it seemed to make even the other employees uncomfortable. I went in to deposit money into my CashApp account. Using the CashApp, I searched for deposit locations and saw that any 7-Eleven is supposed to accept cash app deposits. I usually don’t like to shop at 7-Eleven specifically because I’ve had so many experiences like this one that I’m about to describe but I was literally standing right in front of the store so, I went in. Apparently, The customer before me had attempted a deposit into some other mobile bank (not CashApp) and was a bit concerned when the deposit did not immediately appear in the account. When I walked up to the counter and said I needed to make a CashApp deposit, the owner started yelling at Me! He shouted that the store would no longer be providing this service for Any mobile bank because “it’s always such a hassle”, as if I should have known better. I probably shouldn’t be surprised since getting actual help at any 7-Eleven has happened so rarely in my experience. Still, I’m disappointed and a little mad about the inconvenience this creates for me. I’m Never going back in that store though, no matter how far out of my way...

The guy who is working right now at 6pm on Wednesday the 30th of April is extremely rude I went with my 4 year old daughter an bought a gallon of milk an a chocolate milk for her an the little change bowl on the counter that previous customers leave i used a dime to help pay so I didn't have to break bigger bills for 7 cents my daughter wanted candy so I picked up the quarter an was about to use that also to pay for whatever she wanted me to bring an he rudely barks at me tells me put that down now an let someone else use it an I just shook my head an he looks at me like he was disgusted or something like I literally kicked his grandma's dog an I laugh an say when I leave you don't have to be like that next time an be rude an he tells me to leave the store an thag I can't come back next time. It's disgusting that people like that work a customer service job an is rude like that. Its not ok an I was with my daughter in the car an she says why was he so mean daddy an I just told her people are just like that. Not everyone...

Well, there is one good employee here. I was going to this location regularly to get some drinks and a snack for my son. The last time I was there I did my mile walk to go there to get some tea and when I got to the register I realized my toddler got into my wallet and my card wasn't in there. I was so thirsty I asked if I could please pay them back for the cup next time and I could get some water. He said yes and when I was looking for the water button on the machine the cashier came to scream at me in front of my toddler and everyone else in the store and pointed at the sink I never even knew was there because every time I go in I just get what I need to buy and leave. I felt so humiliated and made eye contact while he was screaming and just busted out crying and everyone in the store watched me walk out with tears rolling down my face.
