Pizza Baron — Restaurant in Portland

So visited tonight and here is what I ordered combo pizza small salad and small pitcher of beer 35.50 medium pizza mind you OK. So the pizza was rushed threw the oven. I expect oven was to hot.so they could keep production up the pizza was soggy crust was gummy except the outer edge so I returned it to the counter they did not hassle me and agreed that it may not had been cooked long enouf and said they could make me another one sure that would be great .even offered to let me keep the pizza that was not cooked no thank u so they made me another pizza this time time pizza was burnt on the bottom like the taste of burnt toast I don't plain to see if you lifted the pizza any way I was disappointed to say the least I still have the entire pizza # 2 minus 2 slices burnt could not say anything good at this point plan on returning it tomorrow weather they refund me or not they should know I was not happy with there pizza at all it really comes down to service and and caring enouf to providing good product and service could really had gotten a better pizza at domino's and they suck .oh and yes the place could at least redue the booth seating it is at least 46 years old you didn't use to sink almost to the floor same booths when I was a kid I'm 52 maybe I just...

I grew up with the owner Bill. We went to the same school growing up. We both always loved Pizza. We use to go in on buying our Pizza from these two elderly women that was right in our neighborhood. In fact we talked about when we got older, we were gonna open our own Pizza Parlor. After all the years they have been open, they have always served Great Pizza. Just visited a week ago, and gave a party for my Son's 48th B'Day. All our friends enjoyed their selfs. And talked about all the times they had enjoyed their selfs.. We played the gambling machines a little. I Won, but my friends didn't do so well, but they still had a good time.We also grabbed one of their large Salad Bar specials...it was really good. I enjoyed a big Soda, and my friends enjoyed a few cold Beers. Check them out for your self. If it's a weekend and you are thinking of maybe a group, be sure to call a head and reserve enough room. Nastalgia....... It's been here since the 1960s my parents both have been in this same restaurant before I was born. This place has quite a history of city Involvement like helping to support our local baseball and softball teams and the best pizza and "hands on" salad bar yummmy. 4paws up for the evening dinner and tons of left overs for two people who ordered the family size. We had eyes bigger that our stomachs. This place is very clean and wonderful for privacy in a huge booth. We opted this for our Anniversary since everything was not open due to Covid and it cured our cabin fever with a fabulous handmade pizza, custom salad bar paired with an uninterrupted private conversation, us time. I really liked that not crowded, with perfect lighting, pleasant atmosphere.
