UC Market — Local services in Portland

I have been coming here everyday to expanded my glass collection and normally the staff is more then friendly and I enjoy my interactions with them, but this evening (05/04/2021) at 9:35pm when I was interacting with the man staffed behind the counter (sunglasses and thinks he’s too cool for anyone and everyone) was so rude to me I couldn’t believe it. He was talking very negatively to me as I was counting my money to pay him as if I was an inconvenience. I didn’t enjoy my visit tonight at all and it was all because of him... I don’t understand why he works at this kind of job if he’s going to be so mean, rude and negative towards the customers. Other then this one staff member this UC Market is one of my absolute favorite convenient store in the Portland...

Rude owners!! I was looking for a disposable vape, I was willing to pay 25.00 for a vape I asked to see if it worked like all the stores do. I opened it and it was a dud. Instead of him offering me a another to try, he shocking, wanted me to "take it home" and try it there...he was certain it would work there. OMG, who says that to a customer, I gave that store wayyyyy too much business to be disrespected like that. I took my cash and left unsatisfied!! Wouldn't you do the same!!! Shame...

I had a thought of 'this place seems like they skim credit cards' and now my card is being charged every morning for random things as a test, the only other places I've been are super official and had normal looking credit card readers. I wouldn't shop here ever again. Better luck next time, thankfully I'm too broke for you to...
