Exceeded my already high expectations!! When my 6month old phone hit caliche rocks & put big pits in my screen I began looking for someone to repair it. I have found in recent years that reviews are very helpful when ive narrowed down my list to the final choices, be it products or services. The reviews for E5 Sigma were outstanding & far better that the majority of others I read. I don't get into town very often or not at any regular time so it took a while for me to have all the requirements fall into place at the same time to be able to drop it off & my screen continued to worsen. When I finally had time, during the right hours to get to Portland & have the money, E5 Sigma did Not disappoint in the least! The store has a nice comfortable reception area, a friendly, knowledgeable staff & impeccable service! The repair set me back but not near what replacing the whole phone would have. My phone now works & looks like new! I wish I'd taken a pic of it b4 repairs.🤦🏼‍♀️I am a very satisfied customer & will seek them out again if the need ever arises, although I hope it doesn't. I will also refer anyone who has a need for electronics repair to E5 Sigma without hesitation! For such an unfortunate issue, E5 Sigma was a surprisingly pleasant solution. I took my HP laptop motherboard into the shop to solder a ribbon cable connector back onto the motherboard. The connector broke from the soldering points on the motherboard. The ribbon cable connects the M2 drive to the motherboard. Yes, I can connect my M2 drive externally and get my laptop to work. I inquired about the possibility of soldering something that small and was informed that it can indeed be done. They took the motherboard from me but did not want the whole laptop. I got my motherboard back and checked out the solder job. It looked like they did a good job. After reassembling and testing the laptop, it still did not function properly. I should have gotten suspicious when they did not want my whole laptop. As a Professional repairman, you should want to test the devices you fix to see if they work. I am not going to take my electronic devices to them again. Why not request them to give the gadget a spin when you hand it over? That way, you can observe how well it works. I was surprised that they didn't ask me to inform them whether the repair was effective before I left...
