FLOW in The City — Local services in Portland

Flow In The City's moved to a new neighborhood but continues to bring the positive vibes by creating space for those familiar with yoga, and those who are new to the practice. Excited to see what they can do with their new beautiful space.

Let's address the comment left by "Rick H." It's interesting that they would mention false claims in their tirade because they left out key details and embellished others. What actually transpired is False Report Rick, who is a resident of the building where FITC made use of the rooftop as a temporary space, was using the grill on the rooftop during the hours reserved by management and FITC. In early July, management sent a notice / invitation to the entire building about FITC offering yoga on-site. The incident False Report Rick is talking about happened in mid August. So that the first lie.

The instructor, a woman, asked False Report Rick and his associates to stop blasting music, as the class was about to begin and the sound system was needed for the class. False Report refused, he tried to intimidate the instructor and the other people in the class - other women.

After reviewing the footage, management issued an apology to the instructor and FITC, saying that the communication from the resident was inappropriate and acknowledging the aggression on the residents part. But because False Report Rick can't process his big boy feelings like an adult and admit when he's wrong, he left a review filled with lies a few weeks later. Yup, real tough guy.

There's footage, there's a paper trail, and there's tons of other reviews stating just how impactful Flow In The City has been to the community. Come experience it for yourself and don't worry about False Report Rick. He's probably in a gym somewhere curling 10 pound weights and grunting as he tosses them to the ground like he just lifted 1,000 pounds for the attention he so desperately needs. As someone just getting into yoga, I cannot rave about Flow in the City enough!!! The studio is so welcoming and friendly, and the staff really makes an effort to make sure new folks feel encouraged and included in the space, which I really appreciate since I’m a bit on the shy side hahah. Classes are approachable for people of any level, but really the thing that makes FITC different from any other yoga studio in Portland are the playlists!!! The music is the gamechanger here!
