Target — Local services in Portland

I wish there was an option to leave a ZERO star review!! For starters, I feel as though Target has overly high prices for cheaply made, trendy, fast fashion and accessories that will only be “in” for all of 5 minutes! Aside from that, I’ve never experienced wonderful customer service or even decent service when I’ve shopped a location - whether it be a small town store that I used to frequent, or a now local Portland location! Unfortunately for me, my favorite makeup line is sold at Target (Winky Lux)...so I really only choose to shop the place if there is a new release in that makeup line that interests me, or I’m out of a staple in my beauty routine. Today’s visit was by far the worst time I’ve had at any Target location I’ve shopped!! I got a basket as I entered, asked where the makeup was located, and made a beeline for the Winky Lux display - and opted for close to a handful of products. Because time permitted and I was already there, I decided to browse jeans for my husband. The entire time I was in the store, I was followed by their loss prevention guy! I felt as though I was profiled in one way or another, whether it was due to my tan skin, my age, or because I wasn’t dressed well enough for Targets standards..I just don’t know??!! What I do know is that I took my time to drive there to SPEND MY MONEY; and was so put off by the audacity of staff thinking I would steal from the store, that I set my basket down, items still loaded in and all, and walked right out of that store without spending one single red cent! Shame on them!! I will NEVER shop that...

Usually a enjoyable experience.lastnight was not a good one got to the register with all my items one was a $3 toy thats tag was missing,the young man ringing me up seemed friendly up until that point then he had a couple worker come over to help find a code for the toy she says damn I just put one of these back do you know how much they are I said yeah $3 and are located back in the Christmas decorations another co worker walked up and says oh maybe ring it in until the item gets up here and walks away.then the cashier and first co worker who had already grabbed another toy start talking about OMG did she just say to just ring it in that's insane I can't believe her she's crazy you can't trust "what these people say".... And went on gossiping while I stood there with 3 small children and a line behind me.the cashier had started handing me change then said oh I owe you a few more Penny's but then started talking to the co worker again.the coworker then put the toy she grabbed from the shelf in my bag and I had to ask if I could have the boy one I'd wanted instead of the girl one she put in my bag.... She said yes and my change wasn't giving to me since I had my dollar change I just walked off tired of holding up the line and hearing them talk . originally my family came in for tablets we called ahead and were told there were 28 got there and none were there .so a very off night for what I usually experience at...

The also worst. I walked in here to buy a simple aux cable that it said online they have I went to the case where it's supposed to be and it's locked I push the button for assistance and waited 20 minutes maybe 30 for someone to show up the person who helped me was really nice it wasn't her but she found the place where it's supposed to be and the rack was empty she went to the back and looked and I waited another 20 minutes and came out and said we don't have it the site says they have it and I drove here and just wasted an hour for stupid aux cable that they don't have why don't you realize that is the site says you have something and you don't have it that will cause great inconvenience for others driving here for it and then when you get here you have to wait an hour to get the news that you don't have it horrible I'm so mad right now there goes an hour of my life and I still don't have the simple aux cable and I have to search around town and waste another hour driving to find somewhere...
