We felt a little weird about taking our almost 8mo puppy inside this dog friendly bar. He’s really good usually and highly socialized and goes everywhere with us. We were excited to hear we could bring Scout in since we are fairly new dog parents and planning for icy cold and wet nights when we all need a night out. It went well and the bar is absolutely adorable. Reminds me of my bedroom in the 70’s ish. So, when I say it went well, the dog behaved but for some reason decided to vomit three huge piles. I was mortified. The bar tender came with a wet rag and we were apologizing and cleaning and they were so sweet. They made me feel less mortified about what had happened. I guess it could have been worse but no, he’s house trained thank goodness.
We will keep this dog friendly bar on our list of places to visit often as well as the food truck in the back. The whole experience minus the dog barfing was excellent. Thanks guys for the dog friendly bar in...
Read moreNever heard of this place until a friend invited me last weekend. I gotta say, I was pretty shocked to see such a cool bar in that neighborhood. We ordered some drinks, found a spot near the awesome fireplace and watched karaoke. After a while, I got up the nerve to sing a song and the KJ was so welcoming and friendly that it made me less nervous. I sang my song, she gave me a huge smile and said "great job!" and I sat back down feeling surprisingly good for singing so terribly in front of the bar. Haha.
The staff was super friendly, drinks were strong and well worth the money and overall this place just felt so nice and comforting. It seemed like everyone was having so much fun.
My friend and I will be going back to try the bbq because we just had dinner before we came. It smelled DELICIOUS! And, I think we'll hit up the karaoke again on Saturday night because it not only sounded great, but it was really fun and that KJ...
Read moreGreat first experience at My-O-My. We stopped by on a Wednesday late afternoon for cocktails and Monster Smash burgers (food cart out the back door). It was quiet so we didn't have to wait long to order a drink. They have a big drink board so you can't miss their specialty drinks. I ordered The Caballero - wild Turkey rye Ancho Reyes, Cinnamon syrup, cardamom and lemon, served up. My husband orders a Ladder 12- Four Roses Bourbon, brandy, port, Cocchi Di Torino and bitters blend, served on the rocks. The drinks were reasonably priced at $11. The cocktail recipe's are well balanced and delicious. The bartenders were friendly and informative. For just opening a week ago they are doing great! I will be back for the cozy atmosphere. I really enjoyed sitting near the fire with an excellent craft cocktail and my Monster...
