Amazing place! My child is trans FTM(15) and has been having body issues. Our counselor suggested that we contact SheBop and make an appointment with them to bring my child in during closing hour and they will help guide us in making purchases like a packer or binders. As a cis female I have no idea how to guide my child on this path. Having educated supporting people who can show them the way is SO important during these teen years. Instead of my child struggling blindly with these feelings they are being shown the way and having allies behind them is key to their mental health (the suicide rate for trans kids is HORRIFYING). Not only that but while I was there I was shown a variety of books that can help me better understand and be the loving support system my kids needs to not only survive but thrive in this world. A priceless gift of knowledge to any parent such as my self and a wonderful signal of support that reinforces that they are worth the effort to educate myself better to help them. I bought like 6 books and the beaming look of gratitude my kid gave me was priceless. I highly recommend this store for EVERYONE as in addition to all I have said the store is packed with top of the line adult toy and the staff is very knowledgeable. This isn't a "adult toy store" this is a boutique and has a comfortable, classy and relaxing atmosphere. You will not be embarrassed to be seen going in and out of the store like 99% of them. My girlfriend and I went to SheBop very enthusiastically, as we had seen and heard all of the good reviews for the place. We were extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. Firstly, the place is tiny, and the selection was rather small. In addition to have a small range of products, they also tended to be rather expensive. Lastly, the staff was wholly unhelpful, standoffish, and acted like the customers were inconveniencing them. It took my girlfriend a couple tries to actually get the staff to answer her questions, and even when they finally deigned to speak to her, they literally walked away as she was mid sentence.

I recently visited She Bop and had a disappointing experience. The store was very disorganized, with items scattered on the floor and shelves. Additionally, the customer service was lacking; I waited for over 20 minutes to get assistance, and when I finally did, the staff member was rude and unhelpful.

I also purchased a product that turned out to be defective. When I returned to exchange it, I was met with resistance and an uncooperative attitude from the owner.

While I understand that every business can have off days, this experience has made me hesitant to shop at here again. As a long time customer, I hope the owner takes these issues seriously and implements better training for their staff and improves store organization. Until then I...
