When first shopping here, we were very impressed with the brands and selection of furniture. We loved the cash and carry section and chose two recliners to be delivered the next day. Our experience was great until the recliners began falling apart. Literally falling apart in multiple places in under a year. Tried calling and speaking with the owner and on the phone he was pleasant and assured me they would take care of it. After 3 calls, we finally got someone to come to our home to document the problems and again was assured it would be taken care of. After repeated calls and many months, nothing was ever done. No one reached out to us....ever. We had to call every single time. Thoroughly disappointed with this company as we had high hopes of being able to furnish our new home with them. At the time we purchased the recliners we were renting at the Lofts across the street until we purchased a home. We knew we would need several things and had already made a list of the additional furniture we would be purchasing. Being new to Portsmouth we assumed the customer service after the sale would be just as good as during the sale, especially to new transplants who needed to purchase more furniture. Thankfully we went outside of Portsmouth to purchase our additional furniture and received great service before, during and after our purchases. It was unfortunate that we could not support a local business and they lost an additional 10k in revenue because they were unwilling to honor the existing warranty on the furniture we purchased.
