The Haskin's House Record Store and Art Gallery is a breath of fresh air for Portsmouth and its handful of small businesses. They are one of the only places in the community that has a revolving stock of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, 8-tracks, as well as a variety of musical instruments hanging around the back.They are always willing to help you find what you're looking for, and will even buy and trade with you if you think you have something they'd want to add to their inventory. Came here today and was highly satisfied. The owner of the store is a great guy. Loves chatting with his customers and filling them in on new items he gets in and such and it doesn't get any better than that. He has everything. Cassettes, Vinyls, CDs, band T's. This store has it all when it comes to music and it even branches out even further than just music. The genres in this store are endless. Always so fun coming to these awesome music store. I highly recommend if you want great service and great tunes!!! Can't wait...

I dropped by for Charlie's art (which was super worth the trip alone) but the whole place was great all around. Charlie himself was extremely gracious and down to earth. Before we left he gave us post cards that they sell there, for free, with Charlie's paintings printed on them. If that weren't enough, he offered to display my work at Haskins House if I ever wanted. Like, what a salt-of-the-earth kinda guy, right?
