Fourth Space Games — Local services in Portsmouth

Went there about a year or so ago to sell a bunch of stuff including nes games, snes games, N64 games and console, GameCube games, 3x PS4 consoles a lot of Pokemon cards and just a crap ton more totaling over $2500 going off eBay prices. And got offered $250 for everything. They were rude very and stand offish, barely spoke to me, made me ND my son feel very unwelcome. And didn't test anything nor look up anything to come up with prices. Yeah they didn't want everything I had but did want most of it. And I was expecting like 40-50% going eBay prices but no they offered me around 10%. They just try to rip people off. So we just grabbed our things and left. I don't think anyone working there including the owner knows anything about video games, trading cards or collectables. They are just trying to take advantage of there being really no other stores around. Plus damn near everything in the store was highly overpriced. Now prices may have changed since then but I doubt it and I know positively their customer service and attitude still are awful cause literally everyone that goes there says so. If I could give this place a zero star I would! Their rude as can be don’t even act like the see you you can stand at the counter for good while and them still ignore you unless you are a worker their or unless you are a “player” their, they say they rebuy games but they don’t unless it’s something they don’t have or never have sold before their prices aren’t all the same on stuff either $10+ on exact games just because they got one sooner than the other but than dance around the question of why it’s different, don’t expect to be known your their tho because they will flat ignore you I won’t be coming back I’ve spend over $100 since my first time coming at first thought it was nothing being ignored but several visits later I know now it’s just them! Don’t recommend this place unless want ignored and ripped off! Visiting from out of town today and decided to stop in as I enjoying patronizing local game stores. Prices on many games seemed to be above average. Also didn't seem like they even try to clean anything before putting in on the shelves. Lots of filthy cartridges.

Kicker for me was that they had a counterfeit SNES Demon Crest in their showcase at full retail price ($150). Asked to see the cart. Immediately could tell it was a reproduction copy. Told the associate it was a fake and he said "I can open it up". When I pressed and said go ahead you will see its not a genuine copy he just sat it behind the counter and walked away. I hope they didn't give someone trade in for that.

Feel like this store doesn't even know what it selling. Fake games are an issue in the current video game collecting climate. And I can admit they even still have a place for those who want to play high value games on original hardware.
