Frank & Steins Lounge — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Was staying in Portsmouth for a little, on a business trip. Mind you, I don't drink, but they had kareokee here, so I was the DD with a few friends. It was reaaaalllyy packed with a young crowd. mainly 21-35ish, sweet. Sorta long waits for drinks, but what can you expect on a friday night. Oh yeah, and careful not to get stuck holding the door between the patio/inside lol I was stuck for literally like a solid 5 mins waiting to get out, it gets crazy packed! Anyway, the bartenders were friendly and made good informants about some of the local girls I was curious about lol. These girls get super sloppy here lol. Anyway, the kareokee was very fun, everyone was in great spirits. The girls were pleasant and nice. and there's tons of them. 1 married buddy of ours went home with a woman 10 years older than him xD. My friends found me a girl, and we had fun at the hotel. As 30 year Old Navy Veteran And local business owner, who has been to many bars around the world , I'm going to be honest this bar is really small inside, and has a small gated smoke pit only accessible from the inside.

The staff is rude, and the clientele are mostly rednecks and their girlfriends, single lonely rednecks and older guys that are regulars. this bar might be close to college but there appeared to be no sign of single women anywhere, and also did not appear to have any signs of intelligent life. every thing you could love about a bar. they recently redid the inside and it looks very nice, especially the lights behind the bar. the staff has been great the few times I've been in, the drinks are reasonably priced, and there are a lot of different types of seating to choose from....
