AVOID GOING HERE. First, we waited in line for 40 minutes to book our race and virtual reality session. When I say in line, it was a big group of people with no structure or organization. They had two people working the front desk, one of whom wasn't able to process a single transaction. Then they both disappeared and without any instructions on where to go or when. I went down to the race area where there was only one employee and no information about which race was queued and which was currently happening. The gear room didn't have an attendant, and people were putting their sweaty used equipment in the new equipment pile. I had to push people out of the way to get the race employees' attention. He had no idea my party was in the current race, and he did not announce anything. We barely had time to get in the cars before they were waving us onto the track. No checking our restraints, no adjustments to the seats, no adjusting our safety gear, just flagged us onto the track. Once we were on the track, the yellow light stayed on, but the other racers ignored it completely and blew past us during a caution lap. When the green light came on, they had already made it around the track. They frequently slammed into our cars, even going so far as to hit my nephew and sister multiple times without getting flagged or pulled from the track. They were flagrant about hitting other cars and ramming into sections of track. After the race, we took our gear off and headed back over to the desk to register for our virtual reality time slot. Nobody was at the desk, so we had to wait for another 30 minutes. While I was waiting, my wife used a $50 game card. She mentioned four different games that took our money but didn't work at all. Another party was taken into the virtual reality area during our time slot white I was waiting. An employee then came over to us and asked for everyone to be present to sign waivers for our session. After we all signed, they said they couldn't accommodate our time slot because they let another party go. They wanted us to wait another hour after the agreed upon time. We said we didn't want to wait and wanted a refund. They said they needed to contact the owner to process the refund through their profit sharing partner. We told them about the arcade games, and they didn't acknowledge the machines being broken and taking our money. We asked for our money back, and they said they would need to reach out to the vendor for the arcades. We asked to exchange the tickets my nephew won from the arcade, and it took them another 30 minutes to get an employee to get him his prizes. There wasn't a single manager on staff, and nothing they promised to take care of ever happened. They never contacted us again for our refunds, never took down any of our information to contact us, never processed any of our refunds, and never delivered the services we paid for. We spent $450 to book everything, waited in line for over an hour and a half, did one horrible race with reckless drivers, got denied our virtual reality experience, received only lies for customer service, and didn't receive a single dollar for a refund. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a business, and it was my...
Read moreOn January 1st my husband and I decided to come in for the first time. It’s my birthday weekend and we were super excited. We came in and registered, and were greeted by a young lady. I didn’t catch her name but she was very polite and helpful with our questions. She guided us to the room to watch the video, she also explained that there was a party of 14 before us and it would be 40 mins-1hr. After we were finished we hung the video we hung out for an hour or more and watched the races. We were confused as to if someone was supposed to call our names, or if we had to check in, or get in line?? So after waiting awhile my husband asked young man with the black safety hoodie on how things worked….he was very polite, but he did tell us it would be over another hour before we could race. Well we didn’t prepare to spend our entire day there to race 1 time. We went up front to ask for a refund, I seen the big sign that said NO REFUNDS. So I was explaining to my husband that I was just gonna ask for a manager then because I didn’t feel it was fair. Some lady aggressively said, “Can I help you?”. So I explained to her what had happened and then she cut me Off to say I JUST GOT HERE. So I waited. My husband and I were Speaking to one another and he said that he thought maybe they had a league race or Something, my response was, “I don’t know what they got going on if it’s a race for certain groups Or what…that’s why I told you to call and see if they took walk-ins, because we could’ve scheduled this.”
The lady then says that they do Take walkins and they do Their best to accommodate us and they DID accommodate us. The way that she said it was extremely rude and I was completely taken back that she spoke to me the way she did. I told her we weren’t accommodated and that I wasn’t speaking to her, my husband and I were having a conversation. Her response was, “well you standing here talking like I can’t hear you.” She then asked for my name to give us our refund, so I asked for her name…. Which is Rachel. I asked her if I did something that made her treat us the way she did, if she has a bad night? Bad morning?? She said she didn’t have a bad anything and she was sorry. But it was very rudely said. I also expressed to her that we were planning my sons birthday party while we had been waiting but we would scratch that. She said Ok. I’m not sure how that lady is in a management position, but I feel sorry for her staff. I’m so disappointed that she treated us the way she did because we definitely would’ve gave it another try or booked a better time. I’ll never go back. And I’ll make sure if someone mentions they may go…I will def tell them about our experience. I hope that someone above her does see this, according to her she is the only manager and there is no one above her. So I guess I’ll email Rick...
Read moreI wouldn’t really recommend this place to anyone, unless you don’t mind waiting for long periods of time. Even so, the service was not all that great. I’ll put the full experience, but the bad experience will be in the second paragraph. Long story short though, the racing was fun but the wait time is the reason I would give LeMan’s a low rating.
So my family and I decided to go here for me and my brother’s bday for the first time (ik that’s pushing it, but there’s not much to do during this pandemic...plus I had on a whole racing outfit lol). The only ones who raced though were my brother, sister, and I. We were supposed to arrive @4:30pm but we ended up arriving @5pm, so if we were held back from racing then there’s really no one to blame but ourselves. The process of signing up was pretty fast, then we had to watch a video about the rules of racing. Afterwards, a couple of mins go by then we are finally able to race (again that’s our fault for that). It was a pretty fun experience for our first race, and we were excited for the 2 remaining races that we had left (my dad paid for 3 races each for us).
This is where things started going downhill. We had to wait for a long time for our second race, and when we asked what the problem was- the one monitoring the races said that my sister was not listed as being in the races, but my brother and I were good to go. It was strange, but we had to go back to the front desk to solve the problem. After a long time of waiting, we eventually had our second race and the thrill of it allowed me to put the previous situation behind me because I suppose that stuff like this happens. It was upsetting to say that the same problem arose for our third race, except my brother and I were not listed in the race but my sister was.
At this point, it’s past 9pm and we were planning to head somewhere to eat afterwards but we were not expecting for us to be there for that long. There was even this woman who complained about the same problem as us: the wait time and confusion. We chose not to do the third race, and me and my family talked about it and management decided to give us 3 free races each (for four family members) when we decide to come back. I know that some people wouldn’t give service like this a second chance, but I’m hoping that the next time we go there it won’t be an inconvenience as much as it was that day because I did have fun racing. LeMan’s has potential, and I would hate to see it get shutdown all because of technology trouble. Plus it’s an indoor go karting place...
