The Portsmouth Farmer’s Market is the kind of place that fills your basket and your soul. It’s vibrant, welcoming, and full of life—from the local musicians playing under the trees to the smell of fresh herbs, baked goods, and just-picked produce filling the air.
Every vendor brings something special. You’ll find farm-fresh vegetables, handcrafted breads, local honey, handmade soaps, fresh-cut flowers, and more—all with the kind of quality and heart you can only get from passionate local makers.
What I love most is the community feel. It’s more than just shopping—it’s connection. Smiles are exchanged freely, conversations flow easily, and there’s a sense of grounded joy in being part of something real and local.
If you’re ever in Portsmouth on a Saturday morning, don’t miss it. Bring a tote bag, your curiosity, and your appetite—you’ll leave with so much more...

If you see this man who has set up shop don't buy anything unless you have...

The market is pretty small in comparison to most in the area, but it offers a wonderful variety of vendors offering everything from fruits and veggies to soaps and homemade goods.
The patrons and sellers are always very polite and friendly. It is a quaint little market that is perfect for this area of Portsmouth and seems to be quite a hit with the locals!
I would highly recommend if you have a Saturday free between 9AM and 1PM that you cone to this little gem and have a look around. Just get there early to make sure you can get your hands on the best produce and some of those...
