That Art Store — Local services in Portsmouth

I knew this place existed however they are closed on the days I have off so I hadn't experienced this place until recently. Dec 9th I took the day off and took my daughter downtown to see Santa which was located next door. I saw outside they had $1 ordiments to paint I thought it would be fun for her so we went. My daughter had a blast and I was able to buy a baby Yoda wooden wall hanging she could paint at home. I fell in love with this place not much exists for kids these days for artist expression for children at least. They were so welcoming, inviting and helpful to my littles needs. I would have stayed all day and bought so much more for her and myself if I didn't have so much planned for the day already. They also sell local artists work. I'd give more stars if I could. Absolutely recommend this place to families of all ages. Thank you to the staff that made this place so inviting and fun for my daughter. * edit: I finally have Saturdays off now so sometime soon so I can now bring my daughter to paint to her...

That Art Store is a collection of over forty different artisans. There is art, jewelry, decor, and take & make crafts available for purchase. There is a section for in-place decorate. There are kid & grown up items. The price on the paint-in-place items includes use of the facilities as well as supplies needed to complete the project same day. The supplies available are: aprons, paint (washable, acrylic markers, dimensional fabric), crayons, brushes, clean up. Tiffany is friendly and everyone was very helpful!
