This was my first time boarding my dog, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing and stressful experience. Three days into her stay, I realized I hadn’t seen any updates or photos, so I reached out to check on her. I was told she was ā€œdoing greatā€ but had gotten into ā€œa little scuffleā€ and had a ā€œvery small scratch.ā€ I was also told they had tried to contact me, though I had no missed calls, voicemails, or texts.

They sent a photo of what appeared to be a minor scratch and assured me the other dog was removed and would not return. While I appreciated the quick response, I was disappointed I hadn’t been notified immediately when the incident happened.

When I arrived to pick her up, the staff apologized again, and I tried to be understanding, saying, ā€œIt’s okay — dogs are dogs, and sometimes things happen.ā€ One staff member replied, ā€œWell, except it was someone’s fault this time.ā€ That comment left me uneasy, as it implied the fight may have been preventable or due to a lapse in supervision, yet no one offered any further explanation.

Once I got her home, I checked her over and found two large puncture wounds on her neck that were still bleeding, and her eyes had thick green discharge. I immediately took her to the vet, where she was treated for the wounds and prescribed medication for an eye infection.

I understand dogs can have scuffles, but the lack of communication, the downplaying of her injuries, and the failure to ensure proper care afterward are unacceptable. I would never take my dog here again after how this was handled.

(For transparency: the first photo is the one they sent me of her ā€œsmall scratch.ā€ The rest are from when I got her home.)

After owners response: My main concern still remains that my dog was not properly examined after being attacked while in your care. A quick visual check isn’t enough when an animal has been in a fight. She should have been evaluated by a veterinarian right away or at minimum had her injuries accurately documented for me to make an insightful decision on if she needed further care. I hope your updated procedures include clear medical protocols so other owners don’t experience...

Happy One-Year Anniversary to Paws N Brews from ARK K9!

Speech! Speech! Speech! 🐶 Where do I even begin? Partnering with Paws N Brews has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences since starting ARK K9. From day one, the warmth, kindness, and genuine passion shown by the owners and staff completely blew me away. It’s rare to find a group of people who not only love what they do but truly care about every person and every pet that walks through their doors.

Over the past 8 months, I’ve had the privilege of watching this amazing business grow—not just in size, but in spirit. You’ve built something truly special, a place where the community feels welcome, where pets are treated like family, and where every interaction is filled with joy, love, and the highest consideration!

To say that I’m proud to be working alongside you would be an understatement. Our partnership has brought more than just business opportunities—it’s brought friendships, unforgettable memories, so much laughter, and a shared mission to make a difference in the lives of pet parents and their furry companions in our community.

Congratulations on this huge milestone. One year of success is just the beginning. I have no doubt that the future holds even greater things for you all. Here’s to continued growth, laughter, love, and a whole lot more wagging tails!

šŸ» Cheers!

Congrats Amanda & Adam!! Truly blessed to be apart of...

Ark K-9 has helped us wonders. My Dog Briggs is a wonderful friend but has had a hard time in public situations. He would do great at home but the second we walk out the yard he would get so distracted. With Trichelle’s help I now feel so much better taking him on walks. Watching her with him you can tell she’s in the right career. She puts the dog first making sure that everything we do is purposeful and safe. While we still have more sessions ahead of us I know we’re in great hands. I can’t thank her enough for all her understanding and help. If you’re thinking about using Trichelle for training do it. She cares for every dog she interacts with, she really puts your dog first, and she’s always a text away for questions. Her communication is very clear for both you and your dog. A lot of the training we had done previously didn’t benefit Briggs. Once she corrected me I found training is so much easier and fun. Thank you Trichelle for helping us deepen our bond and showing such kindness while both of us learned how to better interact...
