If I could rate zero I would, completely unprofessional. Went in to buy a new plan and was helped by Ryan, asked for a note 20 ultra and two s20 fe phones. Traded in my Note 9 for what I thought was going to be a Note 20 ultra. Sale went fine until I made to my car and realized that what I had was not what I asked for, instead what I got was a galaxy s21 ultra. Went back in immediately to rectify the issue. Was was greeted with an attitude and no help whatsoever. Basically told me I was burnt and that it was a "better phone". Acting like I use my phone to take pictures. I couldn't care less about a "better camera" blah blah. Didn't offer any assistance at all and sent me on my way without informing me of a 30 day return window. So I bit the bullet and carried on. Fast forward not even two weeks and my phone screen won't even light up. Apparently this is a common problem with the s21 ultra, (just Google "s21 black screen of death") Went into the store and he Basically told me I was burnt again because of a few minor pocket scuffs on the overpriced liquid screen protector. Though his coworker agreed that there was minimal if any damage at all. And gave me a warranty number when Ryan wanted me to pay for repair though insurance. (Phone would loose ips rating when opened) called warranty number and they sent me to a corporate store in Spokane where they once again agreed that there was no damage to the phone that should have caused this. And offered to send a warranty exchange. (Which will still be the s21 ultra that I have to shell out an extra 50 bucks for an Spen that would have been included had I received the original phone I was asking for.) Un happy that this pompous squirt has cause such a fiasco in my life when if he would have just done his job correctly or took it back when i went in, in the first place that this whole headache would have been avoided all together. Will never step foot back in this place and I think they should find more competent staff. Was considering canceling my service all together and reporting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am copying and pasting a review that I wrote to both Verizon and Phones Plus Inc. corporate office: I was with Sprint for over 10 years. I decided to move to Verizon and bought a Galaxy S4 through this store. Less than a full week from purchase the phone slid from my pocket and the screen cracked. I took the phone back in to see if anything could be done. I had bought insurance through a third party. I thought that since I had the phone less than a week maybe they could swap it. I would like to applaud the staff for adhering to policy over customer service. The assistant manager had the decency to write an 800 number for me to contact on a sticky note. I can call them and get a refurbished one. Two days ago my wife bought a Galaxy S4 also from this store for $300 plus accessories and a new two year contract. She had to back to the store a second time to have her contacts transfered from her iphone. This was supposedly done correctly when we were there the first time. I paid $200 for my Galaxy 4, in addition to accessories. So long story short, if you want assistance or basic customer service after dropping over $500 in one week at this store, don't bother. I should have never left Sprint for a company who is surpassed by Cricket in basics of customer appreciation. It pains me to say that Wal-Mart offers better return service for items I paid less for. I will not be recommending this store to anyone I would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in on a Thursday to get a new phone/new plan. They did not have the iphone 6 in stock, which you would think the associate would have checked FIRST once I said that is the phone I wanted. The phone was ordered and I was told that it would ship by Monday. No call on Monday, so I had to call them. The associate I spoke with was terribly rude. She was so put off that I called! Today is Tuesday and I called again to check on the phone. The associate told me she could not check on the phone unless I came into the store. I live 45 minutes away. To have to come in just to check on the status and possibly not even get my phone after driving that far is ridiculous. It feels like I am dealing with Comcast (that isn't a good thing). Instead of driving in, I called again to have them track the phone. After being on hold for at least 10 minutes, I still have no idea when the phone will arrive. Canceled the phone since I cannot handle dealing with poor service.
UPDATE: I went in to an official Verizon store and got my new phone in half an hour. The associate told me to never go to an "authorized retailer" and that it is best to always go to a VERIZON store. Also, the associate that originally helped me in person at Phones Plus was always great. Dealing with them after that initial meeting was...
