My experience here has always been good, up until today. That is why I'm giving them 3 stars. If I had only today's experience to consider, I would give them 1 star. I arrived with 1 guy waiting. I was number two in line. Then a third person showed up after 5 minutes, then right before opening a guy shows up and gets in before everyone else. We told the girl at the front desk that the order of people waiting was the guy in the blue shirt, myself, then another gentlemen THEN the guy who made it to the counter first. The line cutter was called AND to make matters worse when asked why she disregarded what we told her about who was waiting the longest, the response was "that was my managers decision". In essence they basically said either we don't believe you or it doesn't matter who waited the longest. Needless to say I will not be back.
Update: I'm changing my review from 3 to 1 star and this is why. I figured I would give them a chance to agree that allowing a guy who just pulled into the parking lot to be seated ahead of people who were waiting 10 to 15 minutes was not good business. A chance to have a 3 star review turned into a 4 or 5. I pointed out that a simple question to Doug as to when he arrived would have solved the matter. Instead the owner decided to defend the bad decision made by Chris. (I like Chris by the way. He's a great stylist, he just made a poor business decision) She said, "We can't police how long people have been waiting", and my answer to her was it was brought to her employee's attention, and instead of asking Doug if he was last to arrive, they simply called his name. They lost roughly 1,000 per year in revenue and two customers by this decision and made matters worse by sticking to it when the obvious solution was to ask good old Doug when he arrived. I tried to be fair but the truth is if it comes up, ask and then do the right thing. Next time call out the line cutter. We live in an age of entitlement and political correctness. Not good...
Read moreHey all, this place is pretty amazing. If you look at some of the whiners' posts below, you will notice that they are actually complaining about a business that is so popular that they have to turn people away. Clearly, they are not aware of the acute employee shortage in EVERY service industry. All these whiners had to do was drive down to Sports Clips (closed for 2 months). Jack in the Box, Popeyes, Del Taco all closed to everything but drive-thru. Sonic closed to stall service! Capones now closed Mon-Tues! These places are doing the best they can with the people they have working, so instead of complaining about having to come back another time (oh and they ARE open Sat, notice nobody said that), how about the great atmosphere, 3 taps of craft beer, dozens and dozens of beer, wine and soft drinks in bottles and cans, super comfy waiting areas in front and in back, feet up, full internet etc. They do a great job, but some people just need to complain about anything. Show up and if it is too busy to get your haircut that day, maybe you really just needed a beer, and they will happily serve that up for you even if you are not getting a cut. Well done Locker Room. Ignore the...
Read moreI keep going here to get them the benefit of the doubt and thinking that they will be able to cut my hair correctly! It’s not like it’s very difficult. It is a simple MENS haircut. Last time I was in there they blended my hair with clippers and I shouldn’t have to come home and fix my hair time and time again especially for spending $25 plus tip! I’m guessing this place is just for people that really don’t care if their hair is done, correctly or not! I went to cosmetology school and I shouldn’t have to watch Aspect of their cutting!!! They get caught up in talking with their neighbors and not paying attention to what they’re doing! This is by far the last time that I will be going there and I’ve been going there for a while but I’m getting tired of fixing my hair! And the best thing is, I told them to take half of the length off of the top of my head. My hair was probably 8 inches long. I’m lucky if I have 2 inches on the top of my head now. As I told her, I wanted the length because it’s going to be colder soon… Worst place in the area will...
