I love the menu at Sonic's. However, I don't really love this location. A year ago, my band director brought me and a few other students here, during a break we had between performances at a competition nearby. We put in our orders on the outdoor seating kiosk. When the last student put his order in, they didn't ask for payment or finalize the order. The first order came out fine, the second order waited on drinks even after the food came, but the last order didn't come at all. Drive-thru orders came and went, other people ordered from the outdoor seating kiosk and got their orders, and we were still waiting. We kept asking the carhop and she kept saying it would be coming up soon, but it never did. I'm certain they either canceled it or didn't even put it in. We were waiting almost an hour, and we ended up having to just leave to make it back to the competition. This put me off of this Sonic for a while.
I placed a small order from the drive-thru a few months ago and had no trouble there. Obviously, fast food prioritizes the drive-thru, but that should not devalue other dining methods to the point where the events I've described can happen.
Last week I decided to try ordering through DoorDash. The entrees on my order were a double bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon, and a steak butter bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon. Instead, they put all that bacon on the double bacon cheeseburger, and the onions on the steak butter bacon cheeseburger were not grilled like shown in the picture. My order also included a soft pretzel twist and mozzarella sticks. These items are both pictured in the app with their respective sauces, cheese and marinara. They don't allow you to request cheese sauce in the app, but I did request marinara in the app, just in case. When I got my order, there was no cheese sauce and no marinara sauce. I also ordered two slushes, and they did not come with straws. They forgot to include all of the companion items that are used to enjoy these menu items.

Read moreHORRIBLE Manager!!! I have to give 1 star rating, but this Sonic deserves zero stars. Our order through Door Dash was made incorrectly and missing items. We called and requested to speak to a supervisor. The male who answered said he was the manager. He asked our name and before we could explain our issues, he immediately began deflecting blame onto Door Dash, stating "It's not our fault the driver showed up late." We never had any issues with the timing of our order to begin with. We were eventually able to explain our actual issues, and the manager stated, "That's not our fault. That's Door Dash's fault. There is nothing we can do." Wrong! The Door Dash driver did not walk into your kitchen and proceed to make our order incorrectly. No sir! It was your fault. The worst part of our entire experience was not our order being wrong. Instead, it was how childish, rude and disrespectful the manager was. Managers are supposed to lead by example. The fact that the manager has the worst customer service I've ever experienced, I can confidently say this particular Sonic does not care about their customers or about the thought of losing customers. Do not expect them to own their mistakes and definitely do not expect them to try remedying their mistakes, because they could care less about losing your future business.
