This "thrift" store honestly doesn't have much of a right to call themselves a thrift store. We went in, walked around, and bought some things, INCLUDING a cat tree. The cat tree was marked for 9.99. We paid for it at the 9.99 price. When we went to grab it, one of the guys that worked there said, "There is no cat tree for 9.99. It's 49.99" I corrected him and told him that there is a 9.99 price tag on it. This is when the so-called manager stepped in and said it was a price error and there was absolutely no way she was letting us take it for $9 even though we already paid the $9 it was marked as. So we either had to take the loss or pay an extra $40. She then claimed that she looked it up, and it sells for $200. That's definitely not true. They sell that same cat tree at wallmart for $60-70. So, not only was she completely unfair about the pricing, but she also had very false claims, and was trying to sell something at a barely discounted price that already has someone else's cat hair on it. Now let me put it this way, if you go to wallmart and you wanna buy, say, a chair, and that chair is marked as 9.99, but when you ring it up it comes up as 49.99, what does Walmart do? THEY SELL IT FOR 9.99. I don't understand why she had to be so salty about it to begin with. It's a THRIFT STORE. It's not like she went out and bought it for 40 bucks. Chances are very high that it was donated to them. But she calls herself a Christian, HA.
Also, did we leave with the...
Read moreOne of the best thrift stores in the area in my opinion. Great prices usually a ton of stuff to look through, fixtures, car parts, tools, ect. lots and lots of women's and children's clothes and a fair amount of men's clothing too. The staff are mostly volunteers but they are very helpful and courteous, without pushing the church on you. There is a food bank next door so there is free bread on occasion when the food bank has a surplus. This thrift store also has a free area plainly marked outside. They are happy to receive good used items at the receiving door, also plainly marked outside. If you are a thrift store shopper this should be on your...
Read moreI have been a customer, a donor and developed friendly relationships with volunteers and staff for 15 years. New manager Mark Wismer had me THROWN OUT OF/OFF thrift store and RLM campus last week by big threatening security guys,,, WHY? Mark told them I ARGUE too much (I have cordially asked Mark questions about products and prices recently). I contacted the Supervisor Pastor Rex and also IDAHO HUMAN RIGHT COMMISSION concerning Idaho's statues against discrimination, I am holding off on my complaint until Upper management deals with this egregious behavior.
