Last week I went to load up some shingles and blew right through the little stop sign like usual (because no one is ever there to give your receipt to). I was loading up and really enjoyed watching three employees on forklifts going in circles chasing each other! Then.... THEN... they lined up for a low-speed drag race! How fun! I just kept loading. And loading... Lucky thing I'm honest and only loaded up what I paid for (as far as theyyyy knowwwwww.... hee heee!).

Then I drove out and one of them chased me down it looked like. I wasn't going to stop! I allegedly had extra shingles! (or not)

I swear everyone that works at Ziggy's must have to pass a positive drug test... check THIS out:

I walked up to the counter once and four employees were standing there chatting, on the phone, whatever. They just sort of stared at me. Another customer was standing there. I said. to him, "What's going on?" He says, "No clue. They're just standing here staring at us. It's sort of creepy." Like, he actually SAID that! Then a fifth employee walks up and grabs something at the counter and turns and leaves. Pretty sure he was the manager. So then I was like, "YO!" and they sort of snapped out of it.

Pro Tip: When you drive around to get your lumber, don't even stop at that stop sign to hand your yellow receipt to a loader person... because they're not there! The "in the know" people just cruise on through and load their own lumber themselves. Saves soooo much time!

But yeah, their prices are good when they have stuff in stock. So I keep coming back. It's like a relationship I can't break off. Especially since ACE Hardware quit serving the COVID-laced popcorn. BOO! I miss my meals at ACE.

But back to the Ziggys review – Yeah, so 5 stars to Ziggys for being weird but entertaining. "Construction whenever! Forklift...

One star is too much. Here's the deal with Ziggy's. I went in there last week and thought 13 Sheets of paneling at $8 a sheet. I brought my invoice in there today and they told me that they sold me the wrong materials and that the material that I actually wanted is $27 a sheet. The manager said they called me to tell me. Which they did not. He later admitted they didn't have my phone number. At the end of the day I did not get my materials because I was not going to pay $27 a sheet for paneling. I had my electrician schedule for Friday now I have to reschedule. I had my painter scheduled for today and tomorrow that also had to be canceled. I insisted that Ziggy's eat the difference as it was their mistake they told me to pound sand. I have it all on video and told him I was going to post a video to get community comments and he threatened me that he would take action against me to have the video taken down. Ziggy's is willing to sick their legal team on at the client today...

Always out of products. No one acknoleges your there. Always 4 or 5 employees up front, but no one greets you or ask if you need help with something. And this is always the same! You ask why I go? Because for something minor, or a quick fix, their conienyent. Sometimes Home Depot, or Lowe's is to far for something minor. Love to support our local businesses, but they need better Management and training. Their mainly female staffed, so you think they'ed be more polite and wanting to help. They like other business employees, act like their miserable because they have to be at work. We have 3 of our own businesses, and we talk to many people, we're not the only ones that feel this way. But like others, we just don't want to complain. This is the first time I've ever did this to a business. Here's one more suggestion, Military discount, even Ace hardware gives them. Thanks for letting me vent....
