The Fixx Smash Burgers — Restaurant in Post Falls

Honestly a really boring burger, you can tell they don't even season the meat, the fries weren't seasoned either. I make burgers for a living and this was a disappointment. Don't waste your money here, you're better off making them yourself at home or even going to McDonald's!

Edit to respond to owner. Actually we serve fresh never frozen beef patties every day 😎 and ours are seasoned. Also they're not cooked by a machine, we use a flat top just like you guys. I did try your sauce on my sandwich but that doesn't make up for the fact that the hamburger used for your smash burgers isn't seasoned. I'm not trash talking I'm just saying what I thought of my experience. My boyfriend came with me and he doesn't like sauce on his burgers, so people who don't like sauce are just subject to a bland burger experience? The Fixx Smashburgers: A Fix I Didn’t Know I Needed

I’ll be honest—I don’t normally go for smash burgers. Too often, they’re a dry, overcooked mess masquerading as "crispy edges." But The Fixx Smashburgers made me rethink everything. Their Hellpeno Burger was an absolute knockout—juicy, flavorful, and packing just the right amount of heat to keep things interesting. Not a dry bite in sight.

The portion size? Spot on. The price? Worth every penny. And the guys working the grill? Friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their craft.

Their slogan is "Making Burgers Great Again," and I have to say—they delivered. I went in skeptical, walked out a believer, and I’ll definitely be back for another fix.

The employees were super nice and the service was great. Really no issues there. However, the food was terrible. What should have been a super flavorful burger (PBJ) was very bland and the smashed patty was way over cooked (like crispy/burned, over cooked). The fries were overly greasy and flavorless, despite being covered in parm cheese and garlic. However, my daughter's grilled cheese and regular fries were super good! Kind of shocked that the regular fries had more flavor than the garlic parm fries. Huckleberry BBQ sauce was also really good. Overall, disappointing experience but at least the staff were nice.
