I shop here quite often and I spend quite a bit of money here but I'm not going to go back. My wife and I restore furniture. Or at least not to this location. She has had to ride the bus the past couple of days because I was out of town. My wife had to go in there the past 2 days. And today she was treated like a thief. She was trying to buy a drill, and while she was looking at them one of the employees came over like she was going to help her. Instead she hovered over her, to the point where my wife had to move because she was crowding her and blatantly ignored my wife's questions. She wanted to know if any of the drills came with a battery and a charger. The other employees were standing at the register all watching her to the point where she walked out and took her business to home Depot, where she did find a good price drill that came with a battery and a charger. And employees that actually stopped what they were doing to assist her in answered all of my wife's questions. I would suggest driving across the street to Home Depot if you need the prices that home that Harbor Freight offers then I suggest going all the way out east to Reynoldsburg. Or maybe...
Read moreIn typical Harbor Freight fashion there is a small store packed to the gills with every tool imaginable. But being a small store navigating the store on crutches isn't ideal (I had some great coupons so I couldn't wait until I was crutch free to shop again lol). That being said the staff went above and beyond helping me not only to stop clumsily navigating a cart around the store but they also guided me directly to the items I was looking for (less crutching is always appreciated) and helped get everything together into the cart and later into my vehicle. Their sheer kindness, patience, friendliness, and professionalism helped make a potentially painful and awkward shopping trip a success. I'm kicking myself for not remembering the names of the staff members that helped but the young lady and the gentleman working the store as well as the check out clerk were great! I highly...
Read moreI've been using Harbor Freight for about 14 years since moving to Columbus Oh. I own one of their lathes and milling machines and countless power hand tools. These certainly are not an industrial grade equipment. BUT I like them alot. They're great for small prototype jobs as they can be easily set up and cleaned. The only draw back is you have to be careful not to remove to much material as the machines gear are plastic and easily trashed. I wish Harbor Freight had a better selection of additional tooling for these machines. Indexable rotary tables for example, fuses, replacement gears and metric hardware. Typically what I have seen most people do is buy tools to small for the project they're working on then complain it wore out or just broke. Been there...
