I wish they offered negative stars.... I'll start off by saying I am used to the Olentangy Rooster's they actually go through your bags make sure everything's right and there so I order nearly $60 worth of food i normally don't get so much but everyone was starving anyway I have two big bags my main focus was getting my son's curly fries away from the chicken or else he won't eat it. They forget my daughter's drink I get that get home my daughter's WHOLE meal isn't in the bags annoyed I call over 10xs rang busy get there and sure enough my daughter's food was sitting there cold so they had to make another one livid I'm offered a $5 voucher (on my next purchase lol) get back home my food is ice cold and I'm too angry to eat anyways. As I sit and it a bowl of captain crunch ( that's right didn'spent all that money to eat a freaking bowl of cereal smfh) I'm thinking why did that cost so much look at the recipe not only did they forget my daughter's dinner and ruined mine they forgot my pretzels too UNBELIEVABLE so it's late I'm up because of hunger and still livid I call... oh I remember wasn't that like 5hrs ago really * yes I first came in 5hrs ago by the time I got my daughter's food it's going on 9pm and it's not like I'm stuffing my face with hot deliciousness that I payed a lot of money to do so.. she offers to credit the pretzels I'm like I am NOT GOING BACK THERE NOT TONIGHT NOT EVER I'm so mad I just wrote a whole book they can blame it on a new system but the lack of responsibility and customer service let alone the whole ruined my night and dinner.... Beware this place is something else and that's putting it nicely but since it's now 1am and I've got to vent can't wait to speak to corporate and anyone else I supposedly spoke to a manager which is very hard to believe considering no apologies and being up that it happened hours ago she should be thankful because had i came back a 3rd time she would find out real quick how to speak to an angry customer because your staff and yourself are incompetent to fulfill a S.I.M.P.L.E...

My wife and I have been going to this particular location for years. Since 2005 to be exact. In 2005 my review would be 4 or 5 stars. The only reason I would have given them a 4 star is because the danger of falling in certain parts of the restaurant (cleanliness - grease).
Fast forward to the last couple of years. I've noticed the decline in the wing quality. They do not seem to put as much sauce on it as they used to. It's almost like eating Fried chicken without the hot wing sauce. At least now you can make them extra wet for more $.... right? Now these could be isolated instances but this next one is why i give them a rating of 2.
The last time we went to this roosters location we had a good time overall until the bill came out. I whipped out a gift card that I received in November for my birthday. The waitress came back and said there were problems. She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, I said sure. At this point I pretty much knew what the problem was going to be and got my wallet out and laid it on the table. After about 10-15 minutes the manager came out with my gift card in hand. I asked her what the problem was and she proceeded to tell me that the gift card was invalid. She asked me where I got it and I told her it was a gift from my birthday. This is the part the ruined the evening for me. She said, "This usually occurs if someone steals a card from a store without activating it". At this point i went from listening to p.o. This lady implied that I stole the card and she wasn't even observant enough to see that my wallet was out and ready.

Read moreMy two daughters and 18 month old grandson stopped there to eat. My daughter has been a server for 5 years. We sat there , passed by several times without anyone even looking at us. We already knew what we wanted we order the same thing every time. The station was to the left of us as i faced the window.We watched and listened to the workers chat and still got not a look from any of them.. After 10 minutes I seen a dark haired thin young girl walk up and I almost asked if anyone had that table. She asked for our drinks. No , sorry it took so long, no nothing. My daughter was even mad. We sat there with the drinks waiting for them to bring the babies apple juice for another space of time.. We looked around hoping to make a point that we were ready to order. However no-one looked at us. The baby got very impatient and knocked over a cup of pop. Normally we would clean it up because we understand how rude people are. My daughter was so mad at the service that she said to leave it ! We walked to the front and ordered it to go. The lady up front didn't seem to care about the complaint.. Us knowing it wasn't her fault or could even do anything about it just wanted her to listen.,She didn't achknowledge what I had to say. She could have at least acted.like she cared.( just like the rest of us have to do sometimes with customer complaints) That made my daughter even that much more angry. The service was AWFUL PERIOD.
