Grant's IGA Supermarket — Local services in Princeton

Every visit once a month, my local Grant's are ALWAYS OUT of something I rely on to be available. One example is Fudgecicle SF Fudge Pop's. Also, this store discontinued quite a few products my family enjoyed and Grant's was the only place that had them. It's hard enough living in a rural area, with not many places to shop with WHAT THEY DO OFFER, but also having to struggle financially due to disability for gas to GET to the store, only to find you wasted a trip because the store is OUT OF STOCK, is truly very disappointing and frustrating. The bagging of customer's groceries are truly appalling.. LIKE ITEMS SHOULD BE BAGGED TOGETHER.. Not Chemicals with cookies, bananas or jars with bread... and so on.. WOULD LOVE A JOB (IF I COULD PHYSICALLY NOW) TRAINING cashiers and MANAGERS how to CORRECTLY bag customer's groceries.The Customer service provided by the young ones.... well.... don't get me started, SMH, I'm a retired Customer Service Manager from a Larger Grocery Corporation. AND from another demention where I was taught to treat customers with appreciation and respect. CUSTOMERS ARE GROCER'S AND THEIR...

The prices are ridiculously higher than Walmart Kroger dollar general family dollar and dollar tree plus. If you're rich well to do well off got an established line of credit then grants iga is the place to shop I only stop in if I'm in desperate need of of food to throw together a quick easy and healthy meal and I shop those clearance baskets near the register marked down produce meats and anything else I can use or need that might be marked down considerably due to best by and sell by dates being out. Even then I wind up spending close to a 100 or more every time. I recently bought a dish scrubber that you put liquid soap in and has a scrub brush on the end to wash hard stuck on bits. Well the scrubber leaks all the detergent out. My thinking is the value dollar aisle has very little that's actually worth that 1 dollar if you want something to last go to Walmart big lots or roses even and buy a similar item that cost more that has a reliable name because it'll usually...

It's amazing to go into a establishment and get a certain feeling that you know has been missing for so long ... I hate that as a whole we have moved away from the smaller stores in general especially grocery stores.. this brings that all back in an instant. Now don't get me wrong they have prices that are on pad with the big box boys most of the time. Sometimes they outright beat their prices!! The cashier's are friendly and courteous and the stock ppl are always around a corner to tell you where the darn chilli seasoning is hiding. And if you must smoke (as I do) you will most likely meet the manager if not a owner cause The cigs are their arena !! Great place to shop. Good selection of fresh produce each time I have went in .. and as my wife is so fond of good fruit this is our go-to for such needs.. We were introduced to a new line of apples at this store and got months they were the only place that even knew the name of those super sweet treats . COSMIC...
