The coolest place in Princeton. They have an assortment of Japanese foods and snacks and it’s so fun to try new things.
The salmon sushi is cheaper than any restaurant in the area and extremely good quality. They sell for around $2.25 per piece, while the restaurants are around $3.50, up to $7 for Ajiten.
The Tuna roll (uramaki) had the softest tastiest fish and rice with excellent sesame seed on the outside. For only $7. Be sure to check out some of the cookies and crackers on the clearance rack near the register. I got stuff for 20-60 cents!

The service is friendly, and if you have any questions, they are very helpful in...

To walk into Maruichi and find Japanese sandos, onigiri, matcha cake rolls, and crunchy snacks in weird flavors (corn soup!) waiting for me was the best delight I've had in a while. There's a certain shoyu I've been trying to find for ages and couldn't find it anywhere, but THEY HAD IT! Plus many other interesting finds. I see many more visits in my future. So glad you are here,...
