Flavorful and Diverse: A Review of Tacoria in Princeton
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacpria, a Mexican fast-food gem that left me impressed with its delicious food and diverse menu offerings. From gluten-free to vegan options and a range of mouthwatering sauces, there was something to satisfy every palate. While the music was a bit loud and seating could be challenging to find at times, the overall experience was nothing short of delightful.
Upon entering Tacoria , I was immediately drawn to the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The menu boasted an impressive array of options, with a particular emphasis on accommodating various dietary preferences. As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I was thrilled to find a plethora of gluten-free choices available, ensuring that everyone could enjoy a satisfying meal.
One of the highlights of my dining experience was the wide selection of sauces available to accompany the dishes. Ranging from mild to spicy, these sauces added an extra layer of depth and complexity to the already delicious food. Whether you prefer a tangy salsa verde or a fiery habanero sauce, there was a sauce to suit every taste preference.
While I thoroughly enjoyed the food at Tacoria , I must mention that the music was quite loud during my visit, making it difficult to carry on conversations with dining companions. Additionally, finding seating could be a bit challenging during peak hours, but the friendly staff did their best to accommodate guests in a timely manner.
Despite these minor drawbacks, my overall experience was fantastic. The exceptional food, diverse menu options, and welcoming atmosphere more than made up for any inconveniences. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return for another flavorful dining adventure.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Tacoria to anyone in search of delicious Mexican fast food with plenty of gluten-free and vegan options. Whether you're craving a hearty burrito, flavorful tacos, or mouthwatering sauces, you're sure to find something to love at this hidden gem.

Read moreTried several items and most were just ok. Being a vegetarian I was anticipating tasting the nachos with Beyond meat crumble. Unfortunately, the protein tasted freezer burned. I was very hungry so I ate it without much protest.
The nachos (chips) were very thick, which means none of toppings or flavor was able to translate down to the bottom. This is because the sauces and cheeses were not evenly distributed. Most chips were eaten bare.
We also got chicken, pork and beef tacos for the meat eater of the duo. She said that they were dry and devoid of flavor, no matter how much hot sauce was added in an attempt to resurrect the taste . Speaking of hot sauce, I should note that their sauce bar was fully stocked complete with little cups that could be easily exported home if taking food to go.
The establishment itself was... dirty. Tables were festooned with old sauces and spent guacamole. We ended up grabbing napkins and using the water from the soda fountain to wipe it down. The garbage receptacle was over capacity and begged for relief with each failed discard attempt. The floor was also teaming with taco particles et al infinitum.
Regarding the juices available, they were on the bland side and did not elicit the taste bud response one would expect based on their lively presentation. I liked the middle one best; it was somewhat milky like how a Chai latte would taste. I just didn't think it paired best with my meal choice.
Service however while ordering was on point! My lady decided to tip $12 on our $42 meal, which included: Nachos with Beyond meat (veg), one soft taco with corn (veg), one pork, one chicken and one beef taco and two orders of street corn (veg), which happened to be the star of the show.
I neglected to take pictures of anything this time around. My bad; I...
Read moreNot worth it. The burrito bowl I got (fried avocado) was ... meh. Ok. Drenched with too much sauce (chipotle and sour cream) on top. It was much less food than I would get in a Qdoba or Chipotle bowl or burrito. Also, they charge for any additions, unlike Qdoba or Chipotle. For example, a little pico de gallo added or a tortilla on the side of your bowl is an extra $0.50. Without additions my burrito bowl came out to $9.06 with tax.
Overall it was ok. It wasn't bad. But I would have been MUCH happier (gotten more food, of better quality, and paid less) going to Chipotle, or the Qdoba down the street, or going to Surf Taco... or getting a burrito at Frist Cafeteria on campus... or making my own burrito/bowl.
Also, the vegetarian options are labeled as "Proteins". "Vegan Proteins: Roasted Corn and Poblano Peppers, Fried Avocado, or Charred Chipotle Brussel Sprouts." None of these are proteins... If you want to call them proteins you should have actual proteins... like fish (pescatarian-friendly), beans, or any of 1,000 meat-emulating products (tofu, veggie burgers, Beyond Meat products, veggie "sausages", etc.).
Hip decor and decent menu options. Friendly staff. Music inside was EDM, playing too loud, making it difficult to hear when your name is called for a To-Go order. The bowl came out fast considering that they were busy during lunch rush, in about 5 minutes. A burritos apparently would...
