My husband and I purchased a new bed, dresser, bedside table, and mattress in-store on March 22nd. Our initial experience was pleasant. We paid had the intention of picking it all up later that week when everything was supposed to arrive (Thursday). We decided to call and have it set up for delivery instead. Our original date to be delivered was April 6th. They could not give me a time for delivery, but everything was supposed to come on that day. Around 1 that afternoon the delivery was made with everything except the bed. I was never informed the bed would not become. The delivery men said the store should have called, the store said the delivery men should have called. I was frustrated, to say the least. The manager said the rails were not in yet even though everything was supposed to be in on the 25th. He said he had a friend overnighting the rails so that they would come on Wednesday and the bed would be delivered to me on Thursday. Wednesday I noticed that the side table had slight damage to one of the corners. When I called the store the manager told me he would send a new one out with the bed when they delivered it. Thursday came and I waited until 1 o'clock to call the store and make sure they were still coming. I was told that I was on the schedule but they still could not give me a time. The store closes at 6 p.m.. At 5:50 I decided to call again to make sure that they were still coming, again I was told they would be there. At 8 p.m. there was still no sign of anyone and no way to contact anyone for help. Friday morning the delivery was made, but the new bedside table was not on that delivery. and once again the store blames the delivery men and vice versa. To say the very least it was a frustrating, painful experience. The manager did say to just keep the damaged table and I received a $200 cash refund. From the minute I walked into the store: I was greeted warmly, directed to the areas where I could find what I was looking for and John didn’t pressure me at all. He looked up several prices for me. Helpful and knowledgeable. I found a couch ( that reclined - which I had hoped to find) and also ended up with the matching loveseat. Exceptional prices. They were able to set up a great financing plan for me, which I doubted would be possible as I had just moved here and was not employed yet. I do however, collect my social security retirement benefits. They will deliver my furniture tomorrow - that I hadn’t expected either. King size mattress are apparently not something most places stock and they have to get it from the Bristol store and that's fine if they would of got it today like they said.
