I shop at the Kroger's in Princeton, WV. This use to be my go to store for everything I needed to stock my household, but not anymore sadly to say. Corporate people came in and rearranged the whole store, causing mass confusion with their customer's. Nobody could find what they needed and the employees that worked the store didn't even know where they were stocking supplies. Not a good move, just my opinion. After shopping there the past few months since the restructuring, I have found out that numerous supplies I used to buy on a regular basis are no longer offered anymore. I'm still trying to get used to where everything is and I hear a lot of customers asking other customers if they know where products are including me. Like I said this use to be my go to store for everything, but after finding out they quit selling many products I used to purchase they have forced me to shop other stores to get what I need. That's not good business ethics, once again just my opinion. I'm not sure the reasoning behind the restructuring, but what used to be a store in which all the regular customers knew where everything...
Read moreIt's a pretty decent grocery store. I do the bulk of my grocery shopping here. Some years back, they did all sorts of remodeling to make the store more upscale and it looks nice, but since then, the selection of some items has backslid. The section I noticed the most is the coffee selection. It used to be alright, but not anymore. The produce department is good and has a nice variety. The meats are good quality. Prices can range from good to a bit expensive so, like any other grocery store, it's wise to clip coupons and scan the weekly sale flyer. The staff are always nice and polite and helpful. They have very few, if any, checkout cashiers staffed anymore. It's set up to try to force you to use self checkout which I do not care for. I buy a lot of produce and having to look up and weigh items...
Read moreThis store has the absolute worst management period. I own a business and the lazy work ethic in this store is ridiculous. Overweight lazy workers standing around doing nothing and they use the young guys to do all the work. Angie in management is the most ridiculous excuse for management I have ever encountered. We went to the store on 10/29/23. There were NO carts with customers waiting at the door. I told Angie they needed carts available for customers and she told me I only have 1 bagger. Damn liar she had two lazy Overweight POS standing at the counter as they always are doing nothing. If they can't do the work send them home and find someone whom can! I refuse to shop at this store anymore until corporate...
