The course is great. It’s small but well maintained and fun. The reason for the one star is that they pack people in here so damn tight, it’s common to have 3,4 even 5 groups at a hole waiting!! It’s completely ridiculous! I play golf 2-3 times a week all over central Oregon in the summer. This is the only course that I’ve ever seen people packed in like this! We played one time and they literally had four separate groups waiting to tee off at the same time on the first hole. Not even exaggerating When I say they have a group every five minutes. I hope you enjoy watching people play golf because you’re gonna be doing plenty of this! We played one time and it took us just shy of 5 hours to complete a game. The last five or six holes is always the worst because if anyone has a bad hole and spends an extra five minutes on it throughout the game, everything gets backed up even worse. You can literally spend 20 minutes watching people play their hole. To be 100% honest the only reason I continue to play this course is because my best friends live out there. Otherwise I’d rather play a different course and pay more where they actually know how to space their players out. It’s just not worth the 40 minute drive from Bend unless they stop pacing players every...
Read moreThis is a Central Oregon Golf Gem.
The course is very well maintained. Grass is smashingly green, fairways play brilliantly, and greens are impeccable.
4 sets of tees allows long ballers and old farts to enjoy a round of golf.
And it is called Meadow Lakes because it has many, many lakes! Bring extra balls if you tend to slice!
Green to Tee walks are short. Very walkable, but carts and electric bikes are available for rent.
Plan on a rounds in the 3.75 to 4.5 hour range.
Great pro shop, restaurant and 19th green!
The folks staffing the course are first class and not snobbish - a breath of fresh air compared to other Central Oregon tracks. And you know what I mean.
Best of all, the price is very affordable.
Make the short drive, enjoy Prineville hospitality and a great opportunity to shoot in the 80's..
Lots of...

Family was in town for a family reunion, decided to sneak in a round before the festivities, found this gem in prineville and let me tell you the views of the course are amazing , even coming down the hill overlooking it we were amazed! The course was in awesome shape , plush grass , well manicured greens ,. We were elated the whole day ! It took awhile as we walked and it is a large course , just more time for brews! The drinks were cheap and the fun was non stop! We let a few carted small groups play thru as we were taking our time enjoying the course. Took us about 4.5 hrs for 18 and we both had zero complaints! We’re already planning our trip back,. Best part ,. ITS SO AFFORDABLE! Paid a few bucks more then my local executive course I play weekly ,.. did I say I was coming...
