I stopped in to this video game store on a Sunday afternoon, and what I found inside amazed me. I was pleasantly surprised with probably the most well stocked collection of games and collectibles I have ever seen in one place. This is the hands down the best game store I have been to in Oregon. By far. And the family that runs it is super nice. John, the owner, is well versed in all things collectible, and his impressive collection of all the things I remember from my childhood til now is incredible. I was looking for a guitar hero guitar for Xbox 360. This was the thirteenth game store I visited around Oregon in the last month. Not only did he have one in stock, but he also gave me a fantastic deal as they are going for crazy prices online. I got a few other games, and my son got some Pokémon packs, and it was still cheaper than eBay for just the guitar. There is so much to look at in this store. And there is something for everyone. If you're looking for a cheap game or a super hard to find collectors item in the box, he probably has it. The arcade room he has set up in the back is a super cool addition to give any gamer a place to kill some time. I look forward to returning with a bunch of things in my collection and doing some trading. I refuse to go to Gamestop, and I will drive the 4 hours to Prineville to come here. I highly recommend you come here for any and all video games, vintage toys, Lego, pokemon, or console and accessories. From anywhere, not just Prineville. Thanks, John. It was great to meet you.

Who knew my favorite retro game store so far would be in the middle of Prineville? It's such a great escape from the typical desert, small-towny, and outdoorsy lifestyle in the area and quite possibly the best nerd nest in Central Oregon. (I like it better than many of the stores that cater to geeks in the Portland metro area, to be quite honest.) They don't have the biggest selection I've seen, but it's still impressive what they offer, both used and new, and for such good prices. The owner is such a nice dude and doesn't like feeling as though he's ripping people off. I wish all store owners were like him. (His son is a nice fella too.) It's a wonderful place to get retro consoles; my partner and I got a Wii here last week and we've been having a fun time with it and a pile of games here we got for cheap. I can't wait to see how this store keeps growing and I want everyone who's into video games to check it out.

John is absolutely fantastic. We went in and traded an Xbox, controllers, and several games and left with a pokemon box and a refurbished switch. He gave a very fair price for trade! When we went home we pulled a hyper rare card! We are so thankful, and so excited! Thanks again, John! We always leave with exactly what we want!

Amazing selection of video games, toys and cards for such a small town! Worth the drive no matter where you are in Oregon. I was surprised seeing some items here I have never seen in person before and I’m a collector of toys and video games. I have had a few conversations with the owner John and I can tell that this is a man who genuinely is loving what he is doing and feels humble to be in this position. I won’t say exactly what he did on our last visit because I don’t want people to expect the same thing (people do good works in many different ways) but he overheard my son say something and John did something amazing for my little guy. I can guarantee you my son will remember it forever and it’s those kind of experiences while growing up that molds a young fella into a good, caring and generous man. John, thank you for making my little dude smile. We had a blast learning and Pokemon together tonight for hours! I will also remember your kindness. Folks, bring yourself and your family down here. If you are an 80s kid THIS is a spot where you and your children can come and have a great time hanging out, playing and hopefully starting your own collections together. This is a spot where your kids will see the kid in you. Trust me! Make the drive. You guys deserve a good time together. For many adults there’s no time for games. Buy an old Nintendo or Sega and your favorite games from back in the day and spend some time with your kids. Have some fun together, it’s important. Trust me! People generally don’t take the time to make positive reviews but will definitely hop online to make negative ones when something goes wrong. I’m normally no different. I’m human. I felt like I NEEDED to speak my peace and let you guys know how i feel about this establishment. Hopefully I’ll see you there...
