The Posie Shoppe — Local services in Prineville

We couldn't have been happier with our wedding florals from Posie Shoppe! One of the things we loved right from the start was that they didn’t have a minimum order requirement like some other companies. We chose the pick-up option since the drop-off fee was a bit pricey, and it worked out perfectly.

Michelle was incredible to work with. She spent a lot of time on the phone with us, offering her insight and creative ideas to make the most of our budget. For example, she suggested using loose greenery to keep costs down but tucking it under our wood round centerpieces to prevent it from blowing away. She also recommended reusing our wine barrel ceremony arrangement as a centerpiece for our sweetheart table—such a smart, budget-friendly idea! Michelle was always respectful of our desire to keep costs reasonable, and we really appreciated her expertise and patience as we made adjustments to our order.

I was really disappointed with the service and the quality of the flowers that we received.. I was in town from Oklahoma helping a friend with her hip replacement. My friend's 90 year old mother called this flower shop from Kentucky and ordered 12 dozen roses.. She called on a Friday and the shop failed to get a phone number, and instead relied on the 90 year old to contact me to pick them up. I was not alerted until Saturday by the mother that the roses had been ordered. By the time I was told, the store was closed until Tuesday.

On Tuesday the store called me finally to let me know that the flowers were there. I asked them if we would be receiving fresh flowers and they said yes.. I got to the store and picked them up and I could see immediately that they were old. By the time I Got them home the pedals were already falling off. These were clearly week old flowers and for the cost of them and the trouble that we had to go through to receive them, they really could have given us fresh flowers. After being overcharged and taken advantage of, and lied to about "same day delivery" by the first listing of florists, which aren't really in Prineville but were going to ship fresh flowers from Texas to Oregon. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. So.... living in Arkansas, I went back to my computer and looked for florists with the area code "541" knowing it was correct. I got Michelle 30 minutes before she was going to close, told her my sad tale and bless her heart she was able to fix a beautiful arrangement for my friend's birthday and deliver it after the shop closed. He was so excited. 79 years old and never had flowers delivered to him. He called me and went on and on about how beautiful they were, I got every little detail. Michelle even emailed me a picture of the arrangement. I must say she went above and beyond what was expected of her. Trust me, I will use them again if the occasion arises. Thank you Michelle,...
