My experience at the School of Continuing Education at Providence College has been nothing short of life changing. My confidence has grown as well as my knowledge on a variety of different subjects, including philosophy, history and social science. Not only are the professors extremely helpful and enthusiastic, they are also very passionate about what they teach and strive to make SCE students feel welcomed and valued. Additionally, the administrative staff at the SCE are always willing to direct and guide you through the process, especially at the beginning of your journey. They understand this is new territory for many people and are very sensitive to that, always willing to go above and beyond for those seeking assistance. I would recommend the School of Continuing Education to anyone who may be looking to further or change their career, as well as those in search of something more meaningful in their lives. The SCE definitely filled a void in my life and changed it for the better, in more ways than one. I am a firm believer in education and knew from the start that the SCE was the perfect program for me, in the way it challenged me to be better and in the care with which everyone treated me. My best decision ever... The first time I set foot into the PC SCE office, the feeling of anticipation was overwhelming. I have been out school for more than twenty years and I did not know what to expect… The initial meeting was perfect and upon leaving the office, I was ready, excited and on my way to becoming a Friar at Providence College. The journey was intense and thanks to the amazing and dedicated academic staff, professors, mentors and fellow students at SCE; I was able to accomplish my biggest dream.
