Commercial Street is a fun street to walk. Lots of interesting little nooks and crannies to explore.

We visited in the off season with temperatures in the 40s and sometimes rainy. Lots of shops and restaurants were closed but that’s an OK trade off for the lack of crowds.

Fortunately we had a parking space with our accommodations but even in the slow time parking was awful.

Wouldn’t want to deal with it in the summer!

That said it’s a cool town that anyone visiting Cape Cod should see....

I absolutely love Commercial Street. We’ve been coming to P-Town since 1989. We’ve seen iconic restaurants like Oceans, Withering Heights and Napi’s close but there are always other wonderful restaurants to enjoy like Grand Central, Bubbulas, the Bay. Miss seeing the beautiful yarn at Purl and the Women’s Shop but there are wonderful shops, friendly people and fantastic Drag Show, comedy and music at the Crown and Anchor and Burlesque Shows, Drag Shows and music at the Post...

I didn't know a street could have its own listing in Google Maps! But hey, this is a great street, the main drag in Provincetown. The pro tip here is to rent a bike for your visit since parking is essentially impossible. Otherwise you will be walking. The side of the street closer to this marker is quieter and more artsy, as you walk down everything gets more festive. Plenty of food and drink...

Worth spending at least 2 days here if u settle ur mind to open up for new discovery. There r hotels in the middle of st. It feels like you r in a suburban town but w/ a busy colorful street that got everything u need for entertainment. Theres bikes for rental, traveling at the area not just the commercial st can grab a taste of being a resident here.
