01/11/25 Update: I called the number provided below that was given in response to the review ai posted before , well, that number is just for online orders and not a direct number to talk to owner to discuss the outcome of my terrible experience at the salon. Again, at this place they don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.
No one star!. DO NOT trust your hair at this salon , the girls ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL! Last month November 2024, was my first time coming to this salon, the girl that color my hair left a lot of product at the bottom of my scalp , it was so sticky that I had to come back from the parking lot and request that she washes my hair again. Unfortunately, I returned a second time at the beginning of this month December thinking that what happened was a one time mistake BUT, the same girl spread the hair product below the hair line on my forehead and the sides this time. All she said after I asked her to clean it was that I should have apply something myself there before coming to the salon. She also added that she didn’t have any cream or lotion to remove the product, so whatever she used to clean with the tip of a towel irritated my skin very badly that when I got home I took pictures to show the manager. That was not all, Naomi never took responsibility for what she did and her co worker Brittney with a bossy attitude told me that day that she would have done EXACTLY the same as Naomi did, those were her words. I called JCPenney today to talk to the manager about my terrible experience at this place , after talking for a few minutes with one of the girls from the salon, she put me on the phone with Brittney who again used a rude tune with me to let me know that she remembered me and that she knew who did my hair and that manager was not there and that she didn’t know when he will be in. It’s clear that these unprofessional women should be working somewhere else, they gossip while you are waiting and raise their voices like street vendors sharing with each other what is going on in their lives. I will make sure that my complaint will not ...
Read moreI've liked a lot of items I've seen on the ads (which is exceptionally rare for me), but I rarely shop here (thrift stores are my go to). I finally did an online order, ship to store - none of the items I wanted were currently stocked. (Out of that size, etc.)
I also went to find one more thing before picking up my order - toddler boys underwear - and they didn't have his size... But they had tons of packages of other sizes. The product also appeared to be 3x the price of Walmart.
The pickup order was fine, although the shoe box was trashed. See photo. I appreciate that they have school uniform clothing here, which has been hard for me to find. (The children's place seems to be having its own issues. No returns, poor quality).
But I nearly lost my temper while shopping in the children's/shoes area because there were racks of clutter in the hallways and I'm trying to turn my cart around while my kids run off. It wasn't fun shopping. Every store looks like the cluttered home they want us consumers to have... Full of junk and financially poor as hell. I think that's what JC Penney looks like right now.
My little girl was begging for toys (placed thoughtfully next to the elevator)... Costumes that are so cheap, you can't wash them. And charging twice what Costco sells better-quality costumes for... and 4x what I think they're actually worth. So many things looked cheaply made. So many little girls clearance clothes looked un-classy.
I mentioned a couple of my frustrations to a store manager, briefly and politely. She said she was going to get those hallways cleaned up right away. I believe her, but I'm curious to see if it sticks. I think she's only going to clean up the one section, though. Too bad it may not be the whole store. This store has the tiniest hallways I've ever dealt with, especially for it being a box-store. All the aisles are closterphobic and a wheelchair couldn't get down the hallways, much less the aisles. I couldn't even sit down in...
Read moreI was at JC penny at the Provo Mall the other day. As I was looking for a dress for my daughter I noticed a man with brown skin, medium build, probably 6ft, and a beard following me around. I thought I was just being paranoid and tried to ignore the weird feeling I got. I went into the dressing room with my daughter to have her try on the dress and as I was closing the dressing room door I saw the man come into the LITTLE GIRLS dressing room. At this point I began to panic, we were the only ones in there. I sat there trying to figure out what to do. I decided to just leave everything I picked out and leave the store. So I left the dressing room and saw him standing there in the dressing room. I left quickly and as I was exiting the store the man stopped me and told me he was with Loss Prevention and told me to give him my purse. I told him no (my ID is in there and I did NOT want this man to know my name or address.) I got the worst sick feeling from him. I opened my bag and let him see in, that there was nothing but he insisted on looking himself. I refused and he said he would be contacting the police. Literally go ahead I did not do anything wrong. He followed me to my car and took a photo of my license plate. I was SO terrified the whole time. Wanted to let everyone know about this creepy man. Be safe. And JC Penny, maybe don’t have your grown men employees lurking around the little girls dressing room it’s creepy. I will not be back and will tell...
