About 7 months ago my wife took her iPhone 5 to this location to get the battery replaced on a good recommendation. Ten minutes before we were to pick the phone up we received a call from the store asking us if the screen had been functional before she brought it in. This is a bizarre question to ask considering the functionality check they performed before they took the phone for repair. We allowed the regional service manager to unsuccessfully restore screen function to the phone for several days. He told us that we could take the phone elsewhere for repair and that if it was irreparable he would purchase the broken phone.
The regional service manager was easy to work with initially and even called me personally(my wife did not have a phone) several times with updates on his end. Fast forward to present and there is absolutely no integrity to be found at Tricked Out Accessories. After exhausting all avenues for repair, we approached the company for the restitution promised. We were told that they would not compensate the loss of the phone. I was also informed by the regional manager that no employees involved with the issue were still with the company. This came as a surprise to me as I was told by two store employees, two days before the regional manager contacted me, that the regional and regional service managers had been the same for several years.
We learned from the other service providers, including Apple, that the cause for screen malfunction was likely due to the first technician inserting a metal instrument into the phone in an attempt to pry the screen away from the phone body. The metal instrument ultimately shorted circuit process elements and destroyed the phone. This illustrates a significant lack of technical training and quality oversight within the company.
What should have been a $40 battery replacement turned into hundreds of dollars in new phone and contract expenses. The proposed (new) solution from the regional manager was a discount on phone accessories. Asking a customer to spend money to recuperate losses caused by your organization is a blatant expression of ineptitude by the store, management team,...
Read moreI had my iPhone 6 Plus for almost 3 years, and on the day before I was to trade it in. I accidentally dropped it on the back concrete steps and shattered the glass. So there went $400 down the tubes. Then I was told about this place at the Provo Mall that could fix it and make it look like it was Brand New. So I decide to take my phone to TrickedOut, what did I have have to lose. It cost me a $100 and it looked Fantastic. So the next day I went to Verizon and traded it in for the Verizon iPhone 7 Plus. I looked at their Screen Protectors and I wasn’t impressed plus they would not install it. I was so impressed with TrickedOut Accessories that I took my iPhone 7 Plus to them for my New Screen Protector. I’m really hard on a phone and I knew that they had a very dependable screen protector. I had my iPhone for about 3 yrs and I finally managed to shatter the corner of the screen protector. So I took my iPhone back to TrickOut Accessories and they still honored their policy. It was $10 plus tax to get a replacement screen protector and installed. I then ask if they knew of a good place, that I could go to get a battery replacement for my iPhone. They told me that they did battery replacements on iPhones, and that it would cost $50 to replace it. So I told them to go ahead and do it. I had called around to several other places 6 months a go, and only one company said it would cost me $85 to replace it. The other places said it would cost me up towards a $100, but they would have to run tests on it to see if the problem was really the battery. I Was So Grateful That TrickedOut Accessories Took The Time Out To Listen To Me! TrickedOut Accessories Took Such Good Care Of Me! Plus TrickedOut Accessories Honors And keeps Their Word! They Are Reasonable Priced For A Shop In The Mall! I For One Will Keep Going Back To TrickedOut Accessories Every Time I Buy A New iPhone And If I Ever...

I went in on December 18th to get a $40 glass screen protector for my galaxy s7. It was a pleasant experience until I got home and looked at my phone. The screen protector doesn't even cover the entire visible screen, and creates a black line you can see down both edges of the screen when it's turned on. Not only is it annoying visually, but the edge made it difficult to select anything on the screen that happened to be along the edges. I was not happy with this at all. I paid $40 for a screen protector that I expected to cover the entire screen. Apparently this is an issue with some brands of screen protectors for the s7 because there is a slight curve on the screen. There are glass screen protectors out there that fit the s7 screen perfectly though. What bothers me is that they didn't mention this to me when I bought it, and when I went back the next day they refused to refund my money. Why pay $40 for a screen protector when you can get identical protectors online or other places for a fraction of the cost? I thought it was for the service that went along with it, but apparently they are more concerned with eating the cost of an inferior product they choose to sell you than with keeping their customers happy, and content. I spoke with the manager, and he said it was against their policy to refund money. If that is really the policy I will never do business with them again, and warn those I associate with to do the same. So in the end I asked them to take the protector off that they had put on the day before. I then went upstairs to a different store and paid to have a glass screen protector put on my s7 that actually fits it. Oh! To be fair the manager did offer me half off of a case for my phone. I didn't really want to give them more of my money. That's $40 down the drain for...
