Had panda here last night, woke up with stomach pain, and now I'm vomitting. I know for a fact that it was this panda. One, all I had that day was breakfast, which was a poptart. That would have digested long before the evening hours. Two, in the vomit, I could very clearly see that hardly any panda had digested at all.
Also, there's one thing I spotted, I should've called them out for it, but I was just a hungry customer at the time. I've spent years in prostart and I've joined those cooking competitions, they don't take bad food handling kindly. And they sure messed up. Just because food is in a heated pan does not make it stay good forever, it is but slowly becoming waste. Which is why at buffets they always switch out the entire pan.
Nope, not THIS panda (or at least these workers), right in front of me I saw them pour the new batch over the old. Fifo...first in, first out. They weren't following that rule. Which means the meat on the bottom was probably super old from previous cycles that day..and guess who was scooped some of that meat before they put the new cooked ones on top. Me. ( there was still plenty of old meat left before they put on the new, I wonder if anyone else got sick.) Needless to say, I'm not going back. I don't blame panda, but rather, the workers. You guys gotta hire those who follow code, or else more will complain about...
Read moreWent to order for the family. One of the staff was there cleaning counters and the display glass. It was about a half hour to closing. He was cleaning the inside of the glass displays with the same rag that he was using to wipe the counters and drink dispensers. There was still food in there, and stuff was falling off the rag into the food dishes which was disturbing. Then he accidentally dropped the rag into one of the dishes full of food. He picked it up and then looked over at me and smiled, obviously embarassed, then shut the glass and continued cleaning. I told the person behind the counter what had happened, and she replied " oh I'm sorry, not sure what you want me to do, we won't be making any more food so that's the last we have." I was taken aback... It's like... You throw it away obviously. Not worth risking getting people sick from your food and ruining the restaurants reputation to save 20 bucks of product. Needless to say, very poor food handling practices. I walked away and will never be coming back to this location. Not...
Read moreI order takout from here a few times a year. Normally it is a good experience. Earlier tonight a manager helped me and she did two things I am not impressed with.
the fried rice tray was about 3/4 empty. I watched her put a fresh batch of fried rice on top of the remaining rice. Good for me because I got fresh rice. Bad for someone who is getting the old rice at the bottom, who knows how long it lasts down there.
I ordered the peppered angus beef and walnut shrimp noodles. both items you have to pay extra for. The servings were smaller than normal. I am sure the manager did this because she is more aware of food costs, but in the past the serving sizes of these two items have always...
