I recently when in to this location of Staples, and there's no other way to put it, but I did not feel welcomed as a guest as I walked through the door no one greeted me on top of that. I'm looking for a very specific item. I go to the aisle that my item I'm looking for is usually in. Cause this isn't my first time buying this item. When I go into the aisle, I do not see the item. I'm looking for so I start looking for help. As there is no help in the area to be found as someone realizes that I am looking for help. They shout from across the store. How can I help you? And I said I need help in the pen area, and with a very smart remark. She replied in the pen area? I said yes in the pen area. Then she doubles up on her remark and says it again. The Pen area? so at this moment, I'm getting very frustrated because I feel like she was making me feel like I'm stupid for what I'm looking for because I'm needing help in the writing pen area. All I was looking for was refill cartridges to my pen. And when she approaches me, I'm already irritated by the first interaction. She tells me what are you looking for exactly? And I pull out my pen, basically showing it to her the type of pen and cartridge.I'm looking for to refill my pen. As she proceeds to tell me, all of our refill cartridges are right here and points to this area. I said I understand that I already looked. Is there any that I'm missing? Or maybe I'm overlooking as she had no Interest to help me. So I asked, what is your name?If you don't mind me asking, then she replied Cassie, Kacy I don't remember. Once I asked for her name, the whole demeanor changed. I proceeded to buy 2 brand new pens because of the fact. Nobody was able to help point me in the direction of getting the Refill cartridges. I have had many visits within this location. Usually it's the same gentleman helping me every single time, and he was not there this time. I wish I knew his name because his hospitality welcoming able to hold the conversation with the guests was something that made me want to go back. But with this recent visit made me super...
Read moreThis is a 3 Star Staples, but I don't blame the manager or the employees. It's a typical box store located in Pueblo. Chains here usually get the scraps from up north (Colorado Springs & Denver). Somehow places are nicer in Pueblo West too, even though the population is lower, but I'm getting off topic ...
Tonight was the first time I had an issue with something other than what I previously mentioned. I went in to drop off a UPS package that already had a label and was ready to go. I saw a sign that said wait for a receipt. I had seen two employees and three customers in the store when I walked in. I waited and waited and waited while the print shop clerk helped one of the three patrons with an order.
While I was definitely being impatient, I was also frustrated watching the lack of ability or desire to multitask and prioritize tasks. Had I been working there, I would have made a decision to take the UPS package and provide a receipt, which would have cut the amount of customers needing help by 1/3. It took 5 seconds after I finally spoke up.
I'm sure the employee is a hard worker and is normally fantastic when the store is staffed appropriately, so I'm not blaming her. I have no idea what her day was like or what her workload was.
All I ask is, get a machine to print UPS receipts or schedule someone to float between departments to provide...
Read moreI walked in this store this afternoon and the old man with glasses, grey hair, and a mustache, that works in the back area that makes copies,(or whatever he does) told me to get out of his store, saying that I’ve been caught on camera stealing before. 1. I don’t live in Pueblo, the only reason why I was there was to get my car repaired. The warranty I have on it made me come back here. 2. I don’t steal, I work for UCHealth. I make money, and enough of it not to steal. I was there to buy stuff for my work desk. That man embarrassed me in front of a bunch of customers, he called me a shoplifter. Told me if I didn’t leave he would call the police. I’m giving this store 3 stars because the manager I spoke to was understanding, she came outside and brought us back inside, and apologized. She said she would bring it up to her GM, which I really hope she does, because this man, I can only imagine how many innocent people he has actually done this to, who don’t stick up for themselves. I will be damned if I let someone belittle me in front of a whole store full of people. Shame on you, I hope staples doesn’t have prejudice people working for them, because that’s what that really felt like when I walked in there. He was displaying his racism towards us....
