TL:DR: My Favorite Coffee House in Southern Colorado. Awesome Coffee! Give them a try :)
New Pueblo Resident! The SO and I stopped here on our first day in town and I've lost track of the number of times we've returned since then.
The low key corner of an aging shopping plaza is the setting for this wonderfully "VW Bug" themed coffee house. Music and Atmosphere are a cross between peace, love and art set in a clean open ceiling storefront. There are a variety of tables, couches and bar seating that offer a selection of shared spaces that can comfortably handle up to a small group.
The menu itself is excellent and provides what you'd expect from a modern coffee establishment: from basic black coffee to cold brew, lattes, and smoothies. They've also never hesitated to accommodate any of the custom drinks I've requested, and often have whimsical "drinks of the day" or seasonal offerings.
Saturdays are for Crepes and I've had both sweet and savory offerings, with my personal favorite being the "Revolution" a delicious cinnamon, apple and caramel triangle of pure joy. During the rest of the week you can go with a variety of made-to-order sandwiches, and if you show up in the afternoon there is often a daily soup available.
Love Mug is a family operated coffee house, the service is part of the reason I make an extra effort to stop by. They're warm, caring and personable which creates an atmosphere that invites you to spend a little extra time listening to the music and enjoying the moment.
The quality of the coffee itself is top shelf, they source from "Coda Coffee CO", a respectable local roaster out of Denver. You can find whole bean standard sized bags available for purchase. The shots they've pulled for me are consistent, and enjoyable straight or as an americano.
If you're a frequent flyer they have a customer loyalty program that's worth...
Read moreLove Mug Cafe is a hidden gem in Pueblo, and I can't help but share my love for their Yellow Sub crepe! I recently placed a pick-up order for this mouthwatering creation, and it never fails to impress. The Yellow Sub crepe is a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds. Filled with fresh bananas, rich Nutella, velvety sweet cream, and filled with a cloud of whipped cream and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, it's a heavenly experience from the first bite to the last. What sets Love Mug Cafe apart is the consistently fresh and high-quality ingredients they use. The crepe itself is a masterpiece — thin, soft, and the perfect canvas for the decadent combination of flavors. Each bite is a delightful blend of sweetness and creaminess that leaves you craving more. The attention to detail and the passion for creating delicious food is evident in every aspect of Love Mug Cafe. The staff is friendly, and the service is prompt, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to the Love Mug Cafe team for consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences. I'll definitely be back for another round of...
Read moreEclectic and super cute cafe that has good coffee choices but I wasn't too impressed by the food. We came here famished after an exercise routine. Took a while to order and we couldn't wait. The moment I saw savory crepes, I knew I wanted them.
My friend got their latte and I got the hot chocolate both of which were well-made. She also got a ham, egg and cheese sandwich which she liked. The crepe I got was the Sgt. Pepper with lots of tomatoes, onions, avocados, garlic, peppers, mushrooms and pesto sauce. On paper, it was delicious. In reality, not so much. I think the crepe itself was not as soft and think as I'm used to. The pest was delicious but I think there were too many things inside the crepe. I'm usually all about adding as much as possible so if I felt there were too many things, well, there REALLY were too many things.
I may be back to try some of their other stuff but would primarily...
