Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Pueblo

I am very disappointed with Papa John's right now and let me tell you why. I placed an order a little after 1am today 3/30/14. About and 1 went by and I still did not receive my order, so I called to find out what was going on. A guy named Craig said he tried to call me to tell me that they no longer deliver to my location. they could not reach me because the number was an old Skype number. The reason I am so upset is because the guy Craig said that he has been working there for over a year and he is the one that always works at night and that they have not delivered to my location in over a year, per his GM. Well i just ordered from them on 3/20/14 and in January. We have been ordering from this location the whole time we have been living here, over 2 yrs. I believe that they may have been busy and just did not want to deliver. If the rules were changed Craig still should not have lied and said they have not been delivering to my location in over a year. I see why the other PJ's closed down i would not be surprised if this one does too. I will be calling the Manager Alberto on Monday. I have never in my 2+ years of living here have ever had any problems SMH very sad.

A few days after this unpleasant experience I went to the location and spoke with the manager. He explained to me what happened in my area and why they were not delivering. I addressed my issue about Craig flat out lying to me, he was very concerned and apologetic. He even went out of his way to compensate us for the inconvenience. I would like to encourage everyone to order pizza elsewhere. The company laid off all delivery drivers with a 6 day notice and is deciding to exclusively use doordash for all orders placed through them. The phone orders have already been outsourced to people in other countries a while ago and the owners of the franchise "Apex Pizza" is under a conglomerate corporation by the name of "The Heritage Group" who claims to be a Christian run organization practicing family values and being like Jesus which is a completely and utterly false. They have no cares for any of the people who work at this Papa Johns. I have worked here for over 3 years and other drivers I work with depend on the income for them and their families. My car was broken into in the parking lot and I sent 5 emails to all of the higher up management requesting the camera footage and was completely ignored until 4 months after I got a "Sorry, it was a complicated time, and it's too late to retrieve footage that far back now." They also pay drivers tip wage for working inside doing non-tipped work when they don't have a delivery, of which I believe is illegal. I feel as I have been so disrespected I can't begin to put my frustration into words but I urge everyone to look elsewhere when thinking about ordering pizza. I know for a fact all other chain pizza places in Pueblo at least pay their drivers minimum wage when inside doing non-tipped work. Complained after receiving the incorrect order, and the manager got an attitude. By the way, we always place our order online and get it made perfectly, This time we ordered by phone and it comes incorrect, I guess I would deduce that that is my fault LOL. Anyhow, I complain to the district manager, nothing happened. I followed up and made him do something, and he claimed that the manager was fired, which can’t be true because I don’t think they could even divulge that type of information to a customer, but who cares. We decide to give them another chance about six months later, and I asked for a pizza to be cross cut into squares, which is a valid option for Papa John’s, And well, you would have to see the pictures to see what was delivered. It was clear that they intentionally cut the pizza into small, Non-symmetrical, half inch pieces. I not only have pictures, but I took video of it because it was absolutely hilarious — if only the site let me post pictures and videos LOL. We haven’t Ordered since then, Especially being that Pizza Hut actually step their game up...
