My vet suggested I take an injured (part of the Port Charlotte flock of wild parrots)Quaker parrot to this outfit. As I waited for someone to answer the door and older gentleman was loading heavy, lumpy black garbage bags into a truck apparently for disposal. Maybe I watch too many crime shows....tWhen someone came to the door she was initially unwilling to help a feral parrot as it was not technically a wild animal!!! When she came back out she informed me it would be euthanized due to it's injury. I volunteered to help birds recover. She informed me they only rehab mammals!!!!
