Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center — Attraction in Punta Gorda

Four of us went to pig floyd ( pink floyd cover band ) on March 2nd . The night started out fine . Picked up tickets from will call without a problem . Ordered a drink and went to find our seats . One of the ushers helped us to our seats as the aisles and seat numbers are not clearly marked . The problems began when we left to go get a beverage and use the restroom before they had intermission so we could beat the crowds . We returned to people in our seats . They said an usher had put them there . My friends and I stood until an usher came and rudely told us we couldn't do that and I told him there were people in our seats he replied " just go find seats somewhere ".... really ? Then he asked for our tickets...asked for the other peoples tickets and agreed they were in our seats . They still did not get up and the usher pointed at 4 seats 2 rows back and told us we could sit there . By this point we were beyond aggravated and left having seen only half the show . The 4 seats he pointed to was next to a lady who was very rude to us while we were trying to talk to the people that took our seats so didnt really want to sit next to her . I picked out and paid for the seats that were stolen from us and recieved attitude from an employee when explaining the situation . I will not be returning if this is how...

Huge space, nice, clean, friendly staff, excellent for large events. It was a bit cold in there, we had to ask to change the temperature, so bring extra layer of clothing even if it's 100F outside. Over all, very happy with the Charlotte Harbor Event center, highly recommend it for large or small scale venues.

Event: Absolute Queen, March 4th 2022.The Conference Center is very nice. Well staffed and clean. Parking is a nightmare. You need to get there at least an hour or more early to park anywhere near the facility. This tribute band was terrible. They weren't very close to sounding like Queen, and I don't think they were trying to. The sound system was very bad. The instruments and especially the vocals were distorted and not balanced at all. We left after the third of fourth song. It was that unbearable. I paid over $130 for two tickets. I think that is way too much money for a tribute band. We were very disappointed and will not be going back for any other concerts...
