Went in today to get some beer and snacks for a little barbecue we were having at home (Mexican potato chip flavors are way better in my opinion) and thought they were probably out of tamales but the nice man at the register asked us if we wanted tamales so we got 6 pork and 6 chicken. Iām so glad he asked because THEY ARE DELICIOUS! Itās been a while since Iāve had a fresh tamale and they really hit the spot. Looking at their deli counter while we were in line, the nopales caught my eye for next time we visit. They looked super green and fresh, especially for a specialty produce item that has to travel far to get to WA. My mom got excited and said ālook! Cactus!ā š She hasnāt had that delicious experience yet but I told her I will make us them for breakfast sometime. Anyway, itās very nice to know we have such a great place near by, and the service is so friendly. I donāt speak conversational Spanish, I only know words and phrases but definitely could tell that they know and care about their frequent customers, and have an excellent selection. Especially their teas and housewares! I will be back for teas and more...
