Thriftapalooza — Local services in Puyallup

We had a BLAST vending at Thriftapalooza! Not only was the staff great, but there were a number of things that really made it work well...as well as a FEW things that might be tweaked along the way. Most importantly, the AC was on and it was very comfortable INSIDE the venue. That COULD have gone horribly wrong but it was great. The people, both customers AND vendors were really sweet and humble, thankful to be there and being allowed to sell their merchandise. I was too since we've had so much great condition furniture just taking up space! We sold a fair amount and now have a MUCH better idea of what to expect for next time. The food options were good, parking was a little MEH in that, there were a LOT of extra spaces that could have been used for vendors. At times we have to restock or get something from our vans and we shouldn't have to walk 1/4 mile to just get to our truck. There should be some vendor specific parking rather than putting us with the general population. we need room to bring stuff out of the back of our trucks or sides of our vans/trucks. that would make for a much more ideal situation. Beyond that, the staff were super friendly and helpful! I didn't know that you had volunteers there to help vendors! i was all by myself lifting 100lb+ items to my booth but didn't have any idea there were helpers. I saw some of them helping a lady and then a bunch came out when we were just about done loading out. Their help definitely moved things along a bit but if i knew they were a resource for us, i would have 10000% asked for help! During load IN on Friday, because i was trying to do it all myself, 2 mirrors i had fell and shattered. having help would have definitely prevented that. BUT...now that i know that's an option, i'll definitely look into it.

Beyond that, amazing show, great staff, great customers and overall great vibes. I think both customers AND vendors walked away pretty happy. :) Can't wait to...

Review of Thriftpalooza

I recently attended Thriftpalooza, and I can confidently say it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the announcer had me laughing out loud with their hilarious commentary, setting a fun tone for the day.

The staff and organizers were nothing short of amazing. Every interaction with them was positive, and their friendliness made the event feel welcoming and inclusive. I felt supported every step of the way, which was especially important as I was a vendor myself.

Speaking of vendors, my neighbors were wonderful people! It was heartwarming to connect with such a supportive community. I initially felt nervous about whether people would appreciate my creations, but the encouragement and compliments I received filled my heart with joy.

I truly believe that Thriftpalooza succeeded in its mission to bring the community together and promote sustainable living. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting or even becoming a vendor at Thriftpalooza. It’s an experience that you'll cherish, thanks to the fantastic people and positive atmosphere. I just wanted to take the time to say how wonderful of an experience we had as vendors at Thriftapalooza for the past two years. The entire crew did such an amazing job hosting, advertising and catering to all of our needs as vendors, but most importantly they made it a fun shopping experience for the customers and boosting our sales as vendors tremendously. You can feel and see the passion and dedication the crew put into making Thriftapoolza such a wonderful shopping experience. I loved mostly how the crew would go around saying good morning always smiling and checking on us making sure we were okay or if we needed anything. By far the best vendor experience from set to take down. It was ran so smoothly!! I could go on about how awesome each and every one you are, but I would need more space 🤣❤️. But seriously I look forward to many years with Thriftapalooza you guys are absolutely amazing! Thank you for helping my business grow and all you do for the community and providing a sustainable shopping...
