ā 1 star ā Order #DoesNotExist, Apparently
I placed a mobile order through the Taco Bell app for pickup at this location while working a major local convention. The order was paid for, confirmed, and showed up in my completed orders list. A friend of mine attempted to pick it up and was told the order āwasnāt in the system.ā Rather than calling me, he spent two hours driving to multiple Taco Bells trying to locate it. When I went to this location myself, the manager immediately shifted blame onto me, insisting the order was never placedāeven though I showed her the completed order confirmation in the app itself.
She told me the āreal problemā was that I didnāt check out properly, even though the charge had gone through and the app clearly showed it as completed. When I asked for the order number, she kept demanding itādespite the fact that the app doesnāt generate visible order numbers for mobile pickup. Itās not something the customer can provide if your own system fails to pull the order.
Rather than problem-solving or acknowledging a tech error, I was spoken to with condescension and told that I must have done something wrong. I had to fight to receive the food I had already paid for, and the experience turned a quick lunch into a two-hour logistical nightmare.
Iām local, and Iāve visited this Taco Bell before. After this experience, Iām not coming back. If your app order system doesnāt integrate properly with your store terminals, thatās not the customerās fault. And if your staff arenāt trained on how to handle mobile order discrepancies without gaslighting the person holding the receipt, thatās a training...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreto start when we arrived everything was good š we started to order and we ate everything half way through the meal my husband got up and went to the bathroom and one of the work member went to the bathroom like she normally goes to the bathroom and suddenly she stopped almost close from the men's bathroom and thought that my husband was doing drugs or I don't know what he thought but the point is that he thought that maybe he was a homeless guy who quickly went into the bathroom to get high and went to tell the manager or I don't know who and then my Husband did not come out of the bathroom nor did he take 20 minutes in the bathroom and I had to knock on the door in case there was any problem and he said no! Nothing happens and I told him what the worker did just went to the bathroom, that day we walked out and they discriminated against us as if we were homeless. I have my 2-year-old baby and I am pregnant. I wanted to rest from the journey we took. That's what I realized. The woman was complaining a lot and I told my husband that we should leave because of how they were looking at us and we were already getting ready to leave and the worker came to say that we have to leave and my husband responded that we are getting out of here. And I didn't like the treatment, personally, we are Latin people and they discriminate against us as if we were homeless and that was not very good for me. If they are Latin people, look closely at how they treat someone differently, but if they are people of their race, it would be better. They look at him as if nothing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe young man who took my order was very nice and that's about where my good experience stopped. I'm really surprised at a place that sells burritos all day long that I would have to suffer through a burrito that was half stale. All I ordered was a bean burrito and it literally had the smallest amount of ingredients in it that could ever be used. Also I asked for a side of sour cream on the burrito and there was one little dollop on it and it was all the way down at the bottom of the burrito. I know you can make a burrito that has sour cream throughout the burrito if you paid extra for it. Also I ordered these new chicken strips I have never seen anything to so disgusting in my life they had brown spots on them they looked a literally like somebody dug them up and pop them in the microwave... I will be replacing a picture to show them. Just really sad about this when I first moved to Puyallup this was a good Taco Bell to go to as well as it being open late. It really is gone downhill I'm hoping the owner can really shake things up and change things around and get it to be more customer friendly as far as food goes food is expensive these days and where a bean burrito used to be a $1.99 now it is much more than that but yet I got something that was worth less than that. Hoping this review...
