I just finished my first aerial yoga class, and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the drive! The class was all the way in Quakertown, PA and I live in South Jersey, but for 2025, I’ve set a goal to try 25 new experiences for my physical and mental health. This class checked both boxes, so the drive wasn’t a big deal. It only took a few exits to get there, and honestly, I didn’t mind because I was excited to start something new.

When I arrived, the place was so peaceful. We began with some stretches, which my body really needed because I’ve been feeling tense lately. Then we moved into exercises and poses using the fabric. Let me just say, the poses were amazing! They helped stretch my body in ways I didn’t even know were possible and allowed me to focus on deep breathing, which felt great for my lungs.

The instructor was incredible. You could tell she’s passionate about what she does by the way she explained everything with such excitement and clarity. She really took the time to ensure I was comfortable by selecting the right fabric for my body type and height. She walked me through each step carefully, teaching me how to use the fabric safely while helping me achieve the poses correctly. Her teaching style was thoughtful and made me feel confident trying something so new.

If you’re looking for a new experience to try, I highly recommend this class! I’ve done Pilates, hot yoga, regular yoga, and the gym, but this was something entirely different. I just recently visited Ancient Escape for the first time and had an absolutely amazing experience. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this place is a yoga/massage studio that really surpassed my expectations. It so unique and offers a clean, dimly lit, tranquil atmosphere, perfectly fit to enjoy a nice relaxing massage.

My massage therapist, Jenna, is very experienced and is very sweet and down to earth and easy to talk to, which I appreciated very much. As soon as the massage started, I felt at ease and knew I was in good hands, which were warm and soothing. They offer a massage/facial combo, which I decided to do and recommend for any first time customers.
